The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1949: Chapter 1949: Caring for My Younger Sister (2)

Yang Ruxin actually felt somewhat guilty, as Miss Jiao was not yet ten years old, and her tender little face was now in a pitiful state.

”Madam, will my Fengfeng be disfigured?” Madam Jiao’s eyes were swollen. From the onset of her daughter’s illness until now, she hadn’t stopped crying for a single day, but no matter what she tried, it was of no use.

”Don’t worry.” Yang Ruxin took a deep breath, ”I will do my best to treat her.”

”Thank you, madam.” Jiao Feng, resting in her nanny’s arms, said softly.

”Now be a good girl and take your medicine.” Yang Ruxin said as she handed over the antidote, ”It will taste a bit bitter, because your condition is a bit more severe, so I added some extra herbs.”

The little girl paused but then drank the potion with a frown, her lips pursed as if in discomfort.

”Don’t spit it out, okay? This medicine is very expensive.” Seeing the little girl’s expression, Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but think of Mimi, and she used a tone befitting coaxing a child, ”Once you swallow it, sister will give you something nice to eat. It’s something you can’t get at home.”

The little girl scrunched her face and swallowed the bitter potion hard, then gave a smile that looked more like she was about to cry, ”Sister, I finished it.”

”That’s great.” Yang Ruxin nodded and then pulled out some large dates, ”Try them.”

The young girl hurriedly put one into her mouth, and her eyes suddenly brightened, ”It’s so tasty.” She hesitated for a moment, ”May I give one to my mother and brother?”

”They’re yours to decide.” Yang Ruxin nodded.

Jiao Feng then turned back to hand some to Madam Jiao and a young boy standing nearby.

”You eat them, little sister. I won’t have any.” The young boy was Jiao Feng’s brother, Jiao Long. After refusing his sister, he looked toward Yang Ruxin, ”Madam, will my sister really get better?”

”If you don’t trust me, why come?” Yang Ruxin spread her hands, ”Plus, I’m very expensive.”

”I...”

”Children don’t watch their words, please don’t mind, madam.” Madam Jiao apologized as she tugged her son gently.

Yang Ruxin smiled and shook her head, then looked at Jiao Long, ”You are very good to your sister, and I admire that very much. So, rest assured, the poison in your sister’s body has been neutralized. Just take three more medicine pills, and she’ll be fine.” She said as she handed over a bottle, ”Additionally, I’ll give you a box of Jade Muscle Cream as a gift. There’s nothing specific to avoid eating, just drink more water and make sure to visit the restroom often...”

”Sister Xin.” At that moment, Qi Zizi hurriedly ran in, ”You’re really busy here.”

”Princess?” Yang Ruxin frowned, ”Why are you here?”

”We’re here to scrounge a meal.” Following behind, Jiang Fangfei spoke as she entered.

”Greetings to the two princesses.” As soon as she saw them, Madam Jiao hurriedly offered a salute.

Jiao Feng also stood up to curtsey, performing the etiquette flawlessly, evidently well-taught usually.

”Fengfeng, we’re planning to have our meal at Sister Xin’s place, do you want to stay?” Qi Zizi went over and took Jiao Feng’s hand.

”I...” After taking the medicine, Jiao Feng felt less uncomfortable, but at the moment didn’t dare to agree herself and instead looked toward Madam Jiao.

”Princess, little Feng she...” Madam Jiao naturally wished for her daughter to interact more with these truly noble young ladies, but she was worried about being a bother.

”Since you all are familiar, stay then. I’ll have someone escort Miss Jiao back later.” Yang Ruxin herself was quite fond of Jiao Feng and immediately spoke, ”The food here will be beneficial to her health as well.”
