The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1861: Chapter 1861: Diversifying the Business (1)

With money, people, and power, one can imagine how smoothly Qi Jingyun’s bar will operate. In fact, it doesn’t even need much publicity. Just by spreading the word that there’s a place where one can drink and chat, guests naturally won’t be lacking.

That Liu Fatty is extremely capable. Whatever task is entrusted to him, he can handle it flawlessly and even extend it further. More importantly, he’s shrewd and smooth-talking, always with a smiling face, resembling the Maitreya Buddha, making it particularly easy for people to have a good impression of him.

”Xinxin, you’re being unfair.” Qi Jingyi, upon knowing this, barged into the General Residence to confront Yang Ruxin, ”Why are you doing business with him?”

”I can’t afford to offend him.” Yang Ruxin sighed, ”Besides, there are millions of businesses in this world, you can’t do them all, can you?”

”Aren’t you trying to keep your options open?” Qi Jingyi pouted.

”What do you think?” Yang Ruxin frowned, ”In the hearts of Gu Qingheng and me, the Crown Prince and you are our friends, while the Youth Prince is just a business partner.”

”I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it that way, I was just...”

”Although the Crown Prince is wise and benevolent, the advantage of being the legitimate eldest is too weak.” Yang Ruxin sighed, ”The Empress has passed away for many years, and the Yong Family is no longer what it used to be... The deep bond between you and the Crown Prince is well-known. Your Baoyue Building is already immensely successful, plus there’s Baofeng Bank, which might not be the number one in the country, but it earns quite a lot, right? Now our furniture Divine Sauce has also become unique. If it continues, even if you are a Prince, even if you have the Crown Prince backing you, even if the Court Officials are not envious, do you think the one above would be uncomfortable? A son wealthier than his father, what’s the intention, a rebellion?”

Qi Jingyi couldn’t help but shiver. He had been focusing on doing business and making money, but forgot about his identity and taboos. Was he putting Brother Crown Prince onto a hot seat?

Yang Ruxin saw the change in his expression, knowing he understood: ”So, the business needs to be diversified. The bar is for the Youth Prince, and next you must pull in as many of your brothers and sisters as you can...”

Qi Jingyi’s mouth twitched.

”Do you want to hear my ideas?”

Qi Jingyi nodded vigorously.

”In Hanzhong, there’s coal, right?” Yang Ruxin raised her eyebrows slightly, ”So, do business with the Han Prince about coal stoves, you’ve seen this, it’s what we use at home in winter. But that requires iron, so this needs your Emperor father to get involved, but how to do it, I won’t have to teach you, right?” She said, handing over a drawing.

”No need, no need.” Qi Jingyi hurriedly took the drawing and put it away properly, ”And then?”

”The territory of the Xuan Prince is in the Shu Region, correct? And his mother, Consort Xian’s family, is also from the Shu Region, right?”

Qi Jingyi nodded: ”That’s correct, but usually Consort Xian and the Sixth Prince keep a really low profile...”

”That doesn’t matter, as long as they want to make money.” Yang Ruxin raised her eyebrows slightly, ”We can do chili business with them. You’ve had chili before, haven’t you? It’s much better than prickly ash, right?”

”Right, the people in the Shu Region love spicy flavors... and the Shu Region is also rich in prickly ash...”

”I’ve planted a large number of chilies. We can let the Xuan Prince be the exclusive agent for the Shu Region... and then we’ll be the exclusive agent for prickly ash...” Yang Ruxin explained the concept of exclusive agency in detail, ”Then, how to proceed...”
