The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1709: Chapter 1709: The Son’s Debt Repaid by the Father (5)

Yang Ruxin nodded. In her previous life, she really didn’t have much research on animals and plants. In this lifetime, however, she had dealt with various herbs and animals the most.

But suddenly having so many companions, the nest she had previously built on the roof for Xiaohei’s family was definitely not enough to live in. It could only be expanded, but it couldn’t be done today. So, Yang Ruxin called Xiaohei’s family of three over and asked them to take the group of flying fellows out for training, first teach them the house rules, then learn about the home’s owners, and finally return after they learned to follow commands.

Now, the little kids are all in school. What if they come back and these less intelligent fellows hurt someone?

Xiaohei squawked twice.

”Do you know how expensive these medicine pills are?” Yang Ruxin reached out to grab Xiaohei’s feathers, ”They’re all made from great stuff, each pill is worth a thousand gold, now your son brought so many, trying to eat me out of house and home?”

Xiaohei flapped its wings and flew far away, my son did this, you go account with my son.

A father’s debt, a son repays!

Heihei watched the scene with its son from afar, while Xiaohei shouted with schadenfreude.

Xiaohei protested helplessly, you don’t give them the pills, they won’t open their minds; uninitiated eagles are dumb eagles.

Yang Ruxin rolled her eyes, resigned, and threw a bag of medicine pills over. It seems she would need to continue making these herself as she had already learned how to make them. And the old man said the effect was better than his.

What she added was the spring water from space; that water quality was surely better than outside, so a better effect was normal. However, she wouldn’t reveal the secret, just let Dao Xuzi think her talent was higher than his.

Xiaohei took the medicine pills and led the group away.

Yang Ruxin sighed in relief and called Du Chengxiu to quickly organize people to build houses for those birds, adding wooden houses on the roof.

However, for those too big carvings, they were arranged to have a wing room in the backyard since those large bodies could crush the roof.

Three days later, the bird’s nest was completed, and Xiaohei’s family brought the group back. Some of them even returned with injuries, evidently pecked by Xiaohei’s family, but the group was more obedient overall.

Yang Ruxin issued a few commands, and they actually understood them, showing they recognized all the family members.

Next, Yang Ruxin had Xiaohei’s couple lead these fellows to familiarize themselves with the terrain, then send messages to Gu Qingheng and Gu Yao in Beijing, to Zhongxia in Hangzhou, to Lao Bai in Lin County...

One trip after another, familiarizing them with the routes.

Soon, these fellows could carry out message delivery tasks independently.

Gu Qingheng sent a letter, saying April 23rd is Concubine Mu’s birthday. Because of the victory against Yuan Country’s battles, the Emperor is also sending Qi Jingyun off on a southern expedition, so he wants to celebrate, which means his original wish to return home won’t come true. However, he hopes she can come to Beijing, accompany him for the birthday celebration, and return together afterward.

Yang Ruxin thought that going to Beijing wouldn’t be a problem. However, previously when Gu Qingheng returned to Beijing, Gu Yao did not return, but instead was appointed as the sixth-rank assistant commander and took over the position of Jin City’s guard, responsible for rebuilding Jin City.

Shadow Three Shangguan Fei became his assistant.

This work likely won’t finish anytime soon, so when she goes to Beijing, should she send Xuexue to Jin City to let them reunite?
