The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1579: Chapter 1579: Busy Enough (5)

After the birthday celebration, Yang Ruxin became busy again. First, she returned to Shiyan Village with Bai Rongguang, Black Old Five, and Lu Gao. The Fairy Sauce Store there had been completely established by Bai Rongguang and the others. It was her first time visiting, and looking at the spacious factory, the hundred-plus acres of land beside it, and the small villa built by the seaside—they were all prepared specifically for her as the owner. It was truly a seaside mansion.

To be honest, it was quite an unexpected surprise for her.

”Here are the accounts from these past few days,” Bai Rongguang handed over the ledger with both hands.

Yang Ruxin took it and skimmed through it, breaking into a smile. She had taught her managers how to use Arabic numerals and the arithmetic methods from modern times—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—as well as the modern accounting method of recording transactions using debit and credit. This had become her unique way of keeping accounts here. For those who weren’t familiar with it, even if they held the ledger, they wouldn’t be able to understand it.

Bai Rongguang had studied before, and with his sharp mind, he learned quite well. The accounts he kept were exceptionally clear.

Actually, for the past few months, this place hadn’t seen any profits yet. After all, when Bai Rongguang arrived, he first focused on site selection and purchasing land. Then there was building construction and equipment procurement, all of which took quite a bit of time. However, after three months of operations, the shrimp paste production volume was up, and the warehouse had accumulated a lot of stock. Following Yang Ruxin’s instructions, the quantity released each month was fixed. In Peach Blossom Town, it was still exclusively supplied to Quanshun Building, but the quantity had increased to 300 pounds per month. Additionally, there was some retail sales available. Packaged in two-pound and five-pound jars, these could be bought and taken away, but only 100 jars of each size were provided per month. Once sold out, there would be none left.

”There’s roughly 2,000 pounds in the warehouse now... all stored using the large, sealed jars as instructed by Miss Ruxin,” Bai Rongguang said as he led her to the warehouse, where rows of large jars were neatly arranged.

Yang Ruxin inspected them and confirmed everything was fine. The initial preparation and investment had taken quite a bit of time, and later they would still need to purchase shrimp and make the jars. Even so, within just a few short months, aside from supplying Quanshun Building, they had managed to store up this much. It was already quite good.

Shrimp paste, as long as it’s sealed properly and kept from being contaminated by water or flies, can be stored for one to two years without any issues. She planned to wait until the transport team returning from Beijing arrived, and then send a batch of shrimp paste there. The Eight Prince’s Baoyue Building could take the entire batch in one go.

”Miss Ruxin, although this place is Peach Blossom Town, it’s actually very close to the county seat of Five Rivers County. I visited there a few days ago; it’s larger and more prosperous than Baihua County. Should we consider opening a shop there as well?”

”If I leave it to you, do you think you can handle it?” Yang Ruxin looked at him.

”I can handle it,” Bai Rongguang’s eyes lit up. ”Things here are already pretty stable. Shuimu can completely manage it on his own.”

”Alright then,” Yang Ruxin nodded. ”Write a plan for me detailing how much silver is needed, how many people are required, and so on, then submit it to me.”

”Got it!” Bai Rongguang grinned. Having work to do felt great. He realized he genuinely loved the busy and fulfilling lifestyle.

After leaving Shiyan Village, she went to the town again. The pancake and fruit store there had already settled into a steady operation. With Wang Baolai and his wife overseeing it, that was sufficient. Materials and supplies were transported back and forth by Liang Zi between the town and the county, so there wasn’t any need to hire additional staff.
