Chapter 1414: Chapter 1414: Who Decides (6)

Dong Wenxiu’s smile, however, stung the eyes of Dong Yushi, who ignored Dong Wenxiu and instead glanced at the others, realizing that masters and servants were sitting together, her face immediately turned sour: ”What is this indecency?”

The rest of the people were startled and quickly stood up, bowing their heads, not daring to speak.

”Madam Huang, as the Manager of Jinxiu Courtyard, how can you not distinguish between master and servant? Where are the rules of the Dong Family?” Dong Yushi stepped up to Huang Family.

Huang Family was so frightened that she immediately knelt down on the ground: ”Madam, please forgive me, this old servant knows her mistake...”

Yu Qingge tugged at Yang Ruxin’s sleeve: ”Is this woman going through menopause?”

Yang Ruxin’s lips curled slightly, whether or not she is going through menopause she didn’t know, but it was true that this woman needed to be disciplined.

”Come here, take all of these out and punish them with twenty heavy strokes, then sell them off...” Dong Yushi suddenly shouted, ”From now on, anyone without rules will end up like this.”

All the servants were so frightened that they hurriedly knelt on the ground, but Yang Miao, Xuxu, and Cheng Fofo did not kneel since they were not servants of the Dong Family.

Just as someone was stepping forward behind Dong Yushi to take the people away, suddenly, a snapping sound was heard, Yang Ruxin who had been silent, slammed her chopsticks down on the table.

Dong Yushi’s two head maids, Hanmei and Lamei, were so frightened that they stopped in their tracks.

”What a grand presence you have, Great Aunt,” Yang Ruxin stood up and looked at Dong Yushi, ”To those who know, you are punishing a servant, but to those who don’t know, it would seem like you are putting my mother in her place...”

Dong Yushi’s eyebrows furrowed: ”Xinxin, servants must abide by the rules of servants, without rules, there is no structure...”

”Isn’t Jinxiu Courtyard my mother’s?” Yang Ruxin slightly raised her eyebrows, ”Aren’t these people my mother’s people?”

Dong Yushi’s eyebrows furrowed even more.

”If so, then they should listen to me, I am their rule, and now I’m the one who let them sit down to eat. What? Great Aunt, do you have an objection?” Yang Ruxin sneered.

”Xinxin, you are still young...”

”Since that’s the case, then go call grandfather and Great Uncle then, they are certainly not young. If they also say I’m wrong, then I will immediately move out...”

”You...” Dong Yushi was at a loss for words, suddenly regretting her impulsiveness.

”Xuxu, you’re fast on your feet, please make a trip and inform my grandfather and Great Uncle,” Yang Ruxin looked at Dong Yushi, ”I must make it clear, what exactly our status is in the Dong Family, and ultimately, who has the final say in this family.”

Xuxu nodded, and before Dong Yushi could react, she used Qinggong to jump over the wall and left.

Dong Yushi’s face turned pale, she was simply overwhelmed by the moment and didn’t expect...

Yang Ruxin actually understood Dong Yushi’s feelings quite well, so even if she was occasionally selfish, Yang Ruxin didn’t mind, but not minding did not mean letting her overstep.

Dong Wenming arrived quickly; when Xuxu went to notify him, he already had a sense that his wife might have made a foolish move again, so he hurried from the study, hoping to handle the situation promptly and ideally, without letting his father find out.

But unexpectedly, his father Dong Xun also arrived quickly; just as he entered the gate of Jinxiu Courtyard, Dong Xun followed.

”Xinxin, why the rush to call Grandfather here?” Dong Xun spoke as soon as he entered, and upon seeing Dong Yushi standing beside him and a group of servants kneeling on the ground, his white eyebrows furrowed.
