The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1294: Chapter 1294: Going to Give Birth (6)

The weather gradually warmed up, and the heavy winter clothes were put away. Everyone changed into lighter jackets and became even busier.

At the beginning of March, Xie Tai arrived, delivering the Flower-picking Soft Sword.

”How quick,” Yang Ruxin admired the sword restored to its original state. ”It took less than fifteen days.”

”The repair went smoothly,” Xie Tai smiled.

”Not bad,” Gu Qingheng swung the sword a few times and nodded slightly, ”Thank you, Brother Xie.”

”My life is still owed to you folks,” Xie Tai waved his hand.

”Since Brother Xie is here, why don’t you stay for a meal?” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Try my cooking as well.” It was so sudden that she didn’t have time to call Li Xiang over.

Xie Tai did not refuse.

Just as Yang Ruxin was about to show off her skills in the kitchen, Yang Xiaoshun rushed in anxiously: ”Sister Xin, hurry, Aunt Hehua is going into labor...”

Hearing this, Yang Ruxin dared not take it lightly. She apologetically glanced at Xie Tai, ”It seems I can’t cook for you today... I need to go check...” She then ran out, as Aunt Hehua was having twins and it was still before the due date; it was very dangerous at that time.

”I’ll come with you,” Gu Qingheng hurriedly stood up.

Xie Tai also hurriedly followed into the village.

It turned out Wang Hehua was knocked into labor after being bumped into.

The person who bumped her was none other than Yang Ruban.

Now thirteen years old, Yang Ruban had long been spoiled by the Yang Baichuan couple. Despite Yang Rusong’s stern discipline over his younger brothers later, Yang Ruban was of a certain age and, although he superficially agreed, Yang Rusong needed to study, so he still did as he pleased.

However, the six-year-old Yang Ruhuai had become quite sensible and well-behaved.

Today, Yang Ruban had stolen Feng Caie’s silver, fearing discovery, he ran out of the house in panic, and Xiaoxiang, who was helping her mother walk at the door, was bumped into by him.

Although Xiaoxiang did not fall with her assistance, the impact was not light, and she showed signs of bleeding on the spot.

Li Zhong was building a house for Yang Ruxin at the time. Thankfully, Liu Cuiyun was home cooking and ran out upon hearing Xiaoxiang’s cry, helping to bring the person back into the house, and sent her young son to deliver the message.

Yang Ruxin ran quickly, but the round trip still took her nearly twenty minutes.

”Xinxin, save my mother...” Li Xiang grabbed Yang Ruxin’s hand as she entered, her face full of pleading.

”Don’t worry, it will be alright,” Yang Ruxin patted the back of Li Xiang’s hand, ”Go boil some water.”

Li Xiang nodded and hurriedly turned towards the kitchen.

In the room, Wang Hehua’s face was pale, and beneath her was a pool of crimson.

Liu Cuiyun was also not skilled in midwifery and was full of anxiety. When she saw Yang Ruxin enter, she immediately breathed a sigh of relief: ”Xin’er...”

Yang Ruxin nodded, first placing a slice of ginseng in Wang Hehua’s mouth, ”Auntie, it’s okay, the midwife will arrive very soon.” She wasn’t skilled in delivering babies; her presence was merely for handling the emergency.

As soon as Wang Hehua saw Yang Ruxin, she seemed reassured, slightly nodding her head, and her breathing steadied.

Soon, footsteps sounded from outside. Li Yi brought the midwife, who was Old Li’s mother from Xiaobudong Village, a well-known and experienced midwife in the region. Almost half of the deliveries in the surrounding villages were handled by her. As they had been alerted earlier, she came immediately upon being called.
