The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 598: Chapter 598: The Big Sister is a Good Person (6)_1

Days slid by, and it was deep autumn now, with the weather turning colder and colder.

Although she didn’t like Daya, Yang Ruxin still wanted to set up a funeral mound for the little girl, so that she could rest in peace in the Netherworld, and hopefully be reborn into a good family in the future. She especially hoped that the girl’s personality could change and not be so stubborn anymore.

In reality, this should have been done by her own parents, but the Dong Family didn’t care at all.

To set up a funeral mound, one must have the deceased’s clothing.

Yang Ruxin once again stepped through the gates of the old house.

”A funeral mound?” Dong Family’s expression became strange after hearing Yang Ruxin’s words, and even let out a cold laugh while looking at her, ”Who are you putting on this charade for?”

Yang Ruxin frowned.

”You had the silver, you could have completely supported her, but you didn’t,” Dong Family glared at Yang Ruxin with a face full of resentment, ”Yang Dani, you will go to hell, you took away my little daughter, and you drove my eldest daughter to death, you’re the real murderer...”

”Fourth Sister-in-law, what are you talking about?” Yang Baixiang couldn’t listen any longer and barked sharply.

”Yeah, you really don’t know what’s good for you.” Sanni, who had followed along, was displeased as well, ”Elder sister shouldn’t have bothered with you from the start.”

But Dong Family just sneered repeatedly, ”Who asked for your help? Hypocrite...”

”Mother!” Suddenly, the voice of Erya came from the doorway, then the little girl was seen running over, ”You can’t talk like that about Big Sister, Big Sister is a good person...”

Dong Family looked at her own little daughter and was dumbfounded for an instant, for she felt slightly unrecognizable after not seeing her for several days. The little girl had become whiter and plumper, wearing a pink jacket and with her hair braided into pigtails, adorned with two pink Pearl Flowers, looking very pretty with her bright red lips and white teeth—she resembled a celestial maiden sitting before the Goddess of Mercy at a glance.

”Mother...” Seeing that Dong Family did not speak, Erya called out again.

”Ungrateful wretch, you still recognize that I’m your mother, huh?” But Dong Family suddenly exploded, raising her hand and slapping the little girl’s face.

”Lanlan...” Yang Ruxin was startled, but it was too late to intervene, as she saw the little girl being knocked to the ground by the slap. She quickly hurried over and picked her up, ”Lanlan...”

”Big Sister... let’s go home...” The little girl’s face was swollen, and blood spilled from the corner of her mouth, but she still weakly opened her eyes to look at Yang Ruxin before falling unconscious.

”Don’t scare me now...” Yang Ruxin’s eyes suddenly welled up, and she quickly focused her thoughts to check the little girl’s head; fortunately, there were no serious issues, though she seemed to have a concussion.

”Lanlan...” Yang Baixiang was also startled, then looked at Dong Family, ”Fourth Sister-in-law, what are you doing?”

Dong Family looked at her own hand in shock; she hadn’t intended to hit her, it was just that she felt some resentment and hadn’t been able to restrain herself.

”Dong Hongmei, Lanlan is my person, and you dared to lay a hand on her. You’d better pray that she’s alright; otherwise, I will send you to join your eldest daughter...” Yang Ruxin glanced at Dong Family and, without daring to delay, turned around and ran with the little girl in her arms.

Sanni and the others were also terrified and hurriedly followed suit.

However, Dong Family collapsed to the ground in that moment, uncertain if she was heartbroken or scared by Yang Ruxin’s gaze, but either way, she felt her legs give out beneath her.

”When misfortune collides with misfortune, what a stroke of luck, just die already, all of you—the sooner you’re dead, the cleaner things will be, haha...” The sound of Yang Anshi’s gloating laughter came from inside the house.
