After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Could it be that there was really no place for him, Ruud van Nistelrooy, in this wide world?

He had already transferred to Inter Milan, yet that guy was still haunting him like a persistent ghost!

”All right, gentlemen, the chairman has arrived, and you should be off to training now,”

Mancini clapped his hands and said, nodding at Huang Kaiwen as a way of greeting.

”Neo, distribute the milk tea cards to everyone. I’ll have a chat with Mr. Moratti.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Certainly, sir.”

Moratti walked over to the wheelchair with a smile, bent down, and embraced Huang Kaiwen, ”I didn’t expect you to come here, coincidentally, I am at Pinetina today.”

”That’s quite a coincidence indeed.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”Yes, a coincidence. So, are you going to play for Inter Milan?”

Moratti asked, pushing the wheelchair.

”My release clause with Real Madrid is 250 million euros,”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Moratti: ...

Even if he was willing to spend for Inter Milan, there was no way to spend 250 million on a single player.

Besides, that was just the release clause. Add in the signing fee, Barbara’s agent commission, and Huang Kaiwen’s salary; the first year would require spending over 300 million euros.

million euros could buy most of the Serie A clubs, and even Moratti was reluctant to spend so much money at once.

”Ahem, so what are you planning to do today?”

Moratti changed the subject.

”Nothing much, just planning to visit some old friends and discuss some business cooperation,”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Barbara arranged things quite well before; she’s an excellent club president, and Inter Milan has also benefited a lot from previous business developments,”

Moratti said, ”Let’s find a place where we can eat and talk.”

”Good, you choose the place,”

Huang Kaiwen said, nodding.

Having given away so many milk tea cards to the Inter Milan players today, he really had to earn it back from Moratti.

Without spending 500,000 euros for a meal, Moratti shouldn’t think of going home.

The meal ended with both host and guest thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Huang Kaiwen returned home satisfied.

He didn’t make it to the Milan Academy of Fine Arts, but the visit to Inter Milan’s training base had been quite fruitful.

”Why are you back?”

Huang Kaiwen asked Lily.

”Tomorrow is the weekend, so I came back,”

Lily said, sitting next to Huang Kaiwen and throwing herself into his arms, ”I heard from Mr. Albert that you were planning to visit me at school during the day, how come I didn’t see you?”

”I remembered I had some things to do, so I didn’t go,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a forced laugh.

He had now figured out what was going on.

It was a side effect of ”Angel’s Orchid”; otherwise, with his sense of direction, he couldn’t possibly have gotten lost.

”Really? Were you going out on a date with another woman?”

Lily asked suspiciously, sniffing around Huang Kaiwen.

”It seems I need to prove myself,”

Huang Kaiwen said, pulling Lily onto his lap.

Lily jumped off like a startled little rabbit, her face flushed, ”How can you be like this? Can’t you think about other things?”

”That’s beyond my control,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

Lily ran quickly upstairs.

Huang Kaiwen was helpless with her.

When the young lady came back at night, she helped Huang Kaiwen upstairs.

The disobedient art student was punished again.

The next day.

While Huang Kaiwen was still sleeping, photos of him having dinner with Moratti made the front page.

”Milan Sports Newspaper”: ”Moratti has never concealed his ambition for Kevin, but his hundred million euros is only enough to buy Messi. Taking Kevin from Bernabeu is not easy. Calderon had already said during the European Club Presidents’ Meeting that Real Madrid would not discuss Kevin’s transfer with any team. If anyone wants to take Kevin from Bernabeu, they will have to activate his release clause. It remains to be seen whether Moratti has the audacity.”

”Corriere dello Sport”: ”The newspaper just announced the top ten of the Ballon d’Or this year. These ten players are Kevin, Kaka, C Ronaldo, Messi, Drogba, Pirlo, Ibrahimovic, Fabregas, Totti, Raul. It’s unclear whether Kevin will retain the Ballon d’Or or if someone else will break Kevin’s monopolization. Being sidelined for a long time due to injuries might cause some issues for Kevin in the Ballon d’Or vote.”
