After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

”Good evening, Kevin. Thanks for inviting us over for dinner.”

Adriana handed over a bottle of wine and hugged Huang Kaiwen.

”We’re friends, aren’t we?”

Huang Kaiwen laughed as he welcomed the Maldini family into the house.

Cristian Maldini tugged at his shirt and whispered, ”Uncle Kevin, come over a minute.”

”Chris, don’t always bother Uncle Kevin,” Paul Maldini quickly chided his son.

”We get along well; don’t scare him off,” Huang Kaiwen said with a laugh as he put his arm around the Young Master’s shoulders, asking what was up.

Cristian Maldini glanced at his parents and pulled Huang Kaiwen toward the living room.

”All right, all right,” Huang Kaiwen said, raising his hands in surrender, and said to Mr. and Mrs. Maldini, ”Barbara will be down soon, let me see what’s bothering our young friend here. And Paul, if it’s a pregnancy scare, you’d better brace yourself.”

Even the good-tempered Maldini couldn’t help himself and flung a cushion at Huang Kaiwen.

God damn, pregnant.

Cristian hadn’t even turned 9 yet.

Huang Kaiwen ducked his head to avoid it, and it ended up hitting the young lady’s face.

Maldini quickly apologized.

Adriana explained what had happened while pulling Barbara along, and the young lady gave Huang Kaiwen a displeased look.

Even the kids aren’t spared from the teasing.

When Huang Kaiwen walked out to the yard, he saw Cristian squatting there.

He sat down beside the Young Master and asked with a smile, ”Got something you want to tell Uncle Kevin?”

”That’s the thing, Uncle Kevin, I finally understood what you said earlier!”

Cristian said excitedly.

”What was that?”

Huang Kaiwen had talked about so many things with the Young Master, he wasn’t sure which one the little devil was referring to.

”About how not working and only collecting a salary is the happiest thing in the world!”

”You understood that?” Huang Kaiwen said warmly, wrapping his arm around the Young Master’s shoulders, a face full of gratification, ”I always knew you were the smartest one in the Ma family, I wasn’t wrong.”

Cristian said proudly, ”I traded my dad’s jerseys so that a classmate’s dad would do my homework for a long time, and I even got praised for it.”

Fuck.

Already putting it into practice?

It looks like it won’t be long before Cristian joins me in playing Fight the Landlord in the stands.

Now he’s 8, nearly 9, joining the first team and sitting in the stands at 16, and I’ll only be 28 then.

Having a little brother around wouldn’t be so bad then.

Didn’t expect the Young Master to be smarter than Inzaghi at such a young age.

Could be considered as a backup brother.

”So you just wanted to brag about this to me?” Huang Kaiwen asked with a pleased expression.

”No, the teacher found out later and wants to talk to my parents.”

Cristian said gloomily.

Huang Kaiwen shifted subtly, moving away slightly and asked, ”So, what are you telling me this for?”

”Uncle Kevin, I need you to help me think of something; my dad will kill me if he finds out.”

Huang Kaiwen thought to himself.

If your dad finds out I taught you this, he’d probably kill me too.

Since we’re not that close yet, let’s cut ties now.

”Cristian, you’re a man now,” Huang Kaiwen said, patting his shoulder seriously, ”A man has to take responsibility for his actions. When the time comes, confess proactively to your dad and remember, just admit your mistake, no unnecessary explanations. I believe Paul will certainly forgive you.”

”OK, guess that’s the only way,” Cristian conceded.

When Huang Kaiwen saw the Maldini family out,

he still felt a bit uneasy.

Wondering if the Young Master might rat him out.

If it comes to that, I’ll just deny everything.

Maybe get a diagnosis of delusional disorder for the Young Master?

...

The next day.

May 20.

A day originally without significance, which later generations forcibly imbued with a lot of meaning.

”Morning, darling,” Barbara saw Huang Kaiwen come out and had breakfast ready.

”Morning.”

”I have to head to Raven Network early today, so I can’t take you to the team, should I ask Albert to take you?”

Barbara knew Huang Kaiwen wasn’t fond of driving.

”No need, I should take the bus once in a while.” Huang Kaiwen declined the young miss’s offer.

Even if he was the future chairman of Milan, he couldn’t detach himself from the people, and should occasionally opt for public transport.

”Alright then, I wish you a victorious day.”

The young miss gently said.

”Yeah, I think so too.”

As if.

After sending off the young miss.

Huang Kaiwen quickly got his materials ready and sat in front of the makeup mirror.
