After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Maldini, speaking at the entrance of the Milanello, said in an interview, ”Kevin’s return is a great boost for the team. His talent is there for all to see. Kevin is the future of Milan and an important part of the team. We all like him very much, and now I’m very confident about competing for one or even several honors.”

On August 15th, it was finally time for the season opener.

Milan welcomed Livorno at San Siro, not a formidable opponent.

Ancelotti announced the squad list ahead of time, and though Huang Kaiwen wasn’t starting, he was on the bench.

Fans were thrilled to see this news.

Huang Kaiwen had only played in a friendly match during the summer, then he was out injured, so being on the bench now meant his condition had recovered, and he could play in the match.

This was great news for Milan.

The match had only started for 3 minutes when Seedorf, after winning the ball in the frontcourt, broke into the penalty area and scored against Livorno’s goal.

With such an early lead, Milan fans went wild.

Ancelotti said to Huang Kaiwen with a smiles, ”You don’t need to rush, even if we were behind, I would still give you a chance to play today.”

Thank you.

Huang Kaiwen chose to draw for the expectation value.

That works.

Pirlo is also a boss.

I just don’t know what kind of form Pirlo is in this match.

While he was drawing the card, Livorno equalized the score. Lucarelli received a pass from Vigiani and broke through Milan’s defense, with Milan having only enjoyed the lead for 6 minutes.

This made Ancelotti’s face darken.

Fortunately, before the halftime break, Kaka assisted Seedorf in taking the lead again.

However, not long after the start of the second half, an in-form Lucarelli managed to break through the central defense partnership of Maldini and Stam, beat the offside trap, and scored again past the frustrated Dida, who reacted angrily and was sent off with a red card for elbowing Lucarelli.

Huang Kaiwen, who had been warming up at the sideline, was soon joined by Abbiati.

”Christian, what a coincidence, you’re warming up too?”

Abbiati found Huang Kaiwen’s comment amusing and couldn’t help laughing, which immediately earned him Ancelotti’s ”death glare.”

The two went on the field together, with Huang Kaiwen replacing Rui Costa.

With Seedorf scoring twice, Ancelotti couldn’t just sub Seedorf out alone.

With his previous Beckham experience, Huang Kaiwen quickly adapted as he entered the pitch.

Pirlo’s touch was quite good. With a sideward pass from Kaka, Huang Kaiwen, appearing on the right wing today, immediately carried the ball swiftly towards the opposing penalty area. The spot around the box seemed very familiar to him. It might be the so-called ”Pirlo Zone.”

Seeing many defenders inside, he chose to shoot from outside the area.

Bang—

The shot was of high quality, with Livorno’s goalkeeper only managing to push the ball over the crossbar.

The Milan fans cheered.

They hadn’t expected Huang Kaiwen to showcase such outstanding form immediately upon his return.

The Milan Sports Newspaper had even suggested that Kevin might be finished, but after the match, they might have to eat their words.

Kaka gave Huang Kaiwen a thumbs up.

As a long-range shooting expert, Kaka felt Huang Kaiwen’s shot was as powerful as his own.

Since Pirlo wasn’t there, Seedorf was preparing to take the corner kick.

After thinking for a moment, Huang Kaiwen took the initiative to go to the corner flag and said, ”Let me do it.”

Seedorf waved his hand, letting him take the kick.

Huang Kaiwen, eyeing the center of the penalty area, started his run-up and took the corner kick, intentionally aiming close to the goal.

At the near post, Maldini leapt up for a header and nodded the ball into the net.

Milan had completed the comeback.

Maldini ran all the way to the corner flag, hugged Huang Kaiwen, and praised him, ”That was a great pass, the ball was so comfortable.”

”Mainly because you’re amazing,” replied Huang Kaiwen as Maldini embraced him on their way back to the center circle.

After the restart, Huang Kaiwen actively pressed Lucarelli, who had been very active today; Lucarelli played a quick back pass, but Huang Kaiwen continued the chase.
