Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1067: Chapter 1058: The Wolf Fang Club, Not the Olive Branch

Giant Soldier Pirates, once a powerful pirate gang famous worldwide, its crew from top to bottom all belonged to the Giant Race from Elbaf; Jarul and Yarl, Dorry and Brogy were once captains of this pirate gang.

Years ago, Dorry and Brogy, due to a little girl’s words, started a duel on the Ancient Island to prove whose prey was bigger; other members of the Giant Soldier Pirates were captured by the Navy and sentenced to death.

During this process, Sister Carmel teamed up with the Navy to stage a play, pardoning the pirates of the Giant Soldier Pirates while fostering a wave of friendship with the Giant Race, and the Navy began to have a steady source of giant soldiers.

But the Giant Soldier Pirates still held a legendary status in Elbaf, influencing many young people of the Giant Race.

”I remember reading about it in books, but Robin, how do you know them?”

”Their log pose broke, I sold them a new one.

But it takes some time to store the magnetic force of this island, and getting familiar one way or another, these giants are quite simple-hearted, you should get along with them.”

”Why do I feel like there’s another meaning in your words....”

”It shows you’re making progress, that’s a good thing. By the way, aren’t you planning to recruit them? I asked them, and they seem to want to join Buggy Express, this organization has been developing rapidly, recruiting quite a few people.”

”Sounds good, but I’ve never recruited anyone....”

Robin’s proposal intrigues her; as the future successor of the Hundred Beasts ”enterprise,” she hasn’t done much anything herself except for poaching Tesoro; otherwise, it’s not much related to her.

She is aware of her capabilities and knows that as long as she doesn’t intervene in specific operations, no matter how reckless, she can’t squander away this towering tree.

She wants to do something meaningful like recruiting people, but has no clues.

”That’s simple, you just need to overpower them.”

”Is that okay.....”

”There’s nothing wrong with it, didn’t I say, their goal is to revive the glory of the Giant Soldier Pirates and bring the pirate gang back to life.

Their ambition is significant; they even want to unify the entire Giant Race, integrating several Giant Countries, including Elbaf. The lead giant is named Hajrudin, whose goal is to become the king of the Giant Race.

And all this requires strength; they want to join Buggy Express just to earn commissions and hone their skills in battle.

Everything Buggy Express can offer, we can offer too, so why let this big fish slip into someone else’s pocket.

Speaking of which, I remember Mr. Kaidou also has an interest in the military power of the Giant Race; this could be an opportunity.”

Robin explained her reasons, although she did this mostly because the waiting process was too dull and she wanted to find something to do.

”Sounds pretty good.”

”Right, besides, they value combat more and care less about commissions. Anyway, recruitment is happening recently, with such suitable candidates right in front of us; doing nothing would be a shame.

I remember you wield Elbaf’s Spear, its effectiveness should be even better.”

While Robin and Yamato were conversing, several giants have already returned to the temporary camp.

”Robin, are these your waiting friends? Just the right chance to try my skills, I’m very good at roasting dinosaurs.”

A round and chubby giant put down his prey, showing a very simple and honest smile on his face: ”I’m Goldberg, the chef of the New Giant Soldier Pirates, nice to meet you.”

”Hello, I’m Yamato, I heard you plan to become mercenaries, interested in joining us? The terms can be negotiated.”

”You’re direct, huh, Hajrudin! What’s your thought? I think they’re better than the unseen Buggy.”

Yamato’s straightforward solicitation did not displease these giants, but instead made them seriously consider it.

”Hundred Beasts huh....”

Elbaf is not isolated, while the Giant Country remains mysterious outwardly, the giants living there have a sufficient understanding of the outside world, and are aware of the reputation of the Hundred Beasts.

Their decision to join Buggy Express isn’t without reason; compared to other established forces, Buggy Express isn’t much stronger and doesn’t boast a luxurious personal record, relying more on number to gain foothold on The Sea.
