Arceus's Pirate Journey

”Donquixote Doflamingo...”

”Fufu, does Miss Robin actually know me? That’s quite rare. So, have you considered joining me?”

He valued Robin’s ability because he thought it could greatly assist his future plans. As for any trust issues, he believed he was different from that group of fools, convinced Robin couldn’t cause problems under his command.

”I’m sorry, I decline the invitation.”

She had already gathered information here upon her arrival. The Donquixote Clan had just started dabbling in the Underworld of the Grand Line, whereas Hundred Beasts and BIG MOM were the established rulers there, so Robin had some understanding of them.

Their direction and hers were completely opposite, and this organization was not suitable for her.

”Oh? Can I assume you’re giving up your life?”

He didn’t plan to let such people go. If Robin refused, Doflamingo didn’t intend to allow her to leave alive.

”Of course not. I’m just considering you because you can’t afford the consequences of taking me.”

As Robin spoke, she pulled down the armband on her shoulder; the horned skull emblem was very conspicuous.

”Mr. Doflamingo, you should recognize this emblem. If you can convince Mr. Kaidou, then I wouldn’t have any objections.”

Compared to fools, Robin preferred encountering intelligent people. The flag of the Hundred Beasts might not work on brainless brutes and might even provoke them into challenging it.

But intelligent people with foresight, like Doflamingo who had been developing his Underworld network, would never risk offending a Sea Emperor.

And as Robin predicted, after seeing the emblem, Doflamingo’s expression turned notably unpleasant. He was unwilling to gamble on whether the Hundred Beasts knew the details here and whether his actions would lead to retaliation.

As a former Heavenly Celestial Dragon, he had a clear understanding of the world’s military power. Neither a Sea Emperor nor a Navy Admiral was an enemy he could face, or else he wouldn’t be constantly pursued by Tsuru.

He’d rather offend an Admiral than offend a Great Pirate like Kaidou. With the secrets he held, he was confident he could make the World Government halt the Navy’s actions, but pirates were different; those lawless individuals acted entirely by their whims.

Offending a monster like Kaidou would only lead to a quicker death.

With a slight movement of his fingers, Doflamingo retracted the threads he had released.

However, looking at the emblem on Robin’s shoulder, Law showed a different expression...
