The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Chapter 82: Chapter 81: Traditional Longevity Peach

Refused to accept compensation.

Only requested to make another Longevity Peach that met their expectations.

Hearing Sun Mingze say this, Yao Shi patiently examined the Longevity Peach once again.

Actually, it really wasn’t the fault of the dough master at the store.

The Longevity Peach they made truly had no problems.

All the specific requests noted were met, and regardless of style, dough, or filling, everything was crafted very well.

But...

The customer wasn’t satisfied.

This made things tricky.

Everything done according to the request still wouldn’t suffice.

So how to solve this?

While Yao Shi was frowning in thought, Fu Yu was also pondering.

Communication has to be done via conversation.

Now that Sun Mingze has already stated his request to remake a Longevity Peach.

But even after this was said, the ”?” above Sun Mingze’s head remained unchanged.

This indicated that further communication with Sun Mingze was necessary.

For the task, Fu Yu was willing to go all out.

He braced himself, stepped forward, and faced the imposing Sun Mingze: ”Sir, please calm down first.”

Sun Mingze was fuming, ready to lash out with sarcastic remarks, but before he could speak, the handsome young chef in front of him said: ”We sincerely apologize for such a situation occurring. Regarding your request, we will certainly do everything possible to ensure you are satisfied. After all, you came here to spend, and it’s our fault that you left unsatisfied, logically and emotionally.”

”Therefore, I have a suggestion, let’s calmly communicate first, at least let us understand your specific requirements clearly.”

”Recognizing our mistakes will help us better correct and compensate, allowing us to remake a Longevity Peach that meets your expectations, don’t you agree?”

The words from the young handsome chef were quite soothing, at least more satisfying than the owner of the restaurant who only talked about compensation.

Was it money he was lacking?

No, it was about the issue!

Sun Mingze’s face remained stern, but he hesitated with the words he had prepared: ”It’s good to know it was your problem! I came here to spend money, not to find trouble! I’m just trying to celebrate my granny’s birthday because I trusted your restaurant’s reputation and skills, that’s why I came here to order a Longevity Peach, I don’t mind how much it costs, I just want my granny to be happy. But ending up like this, what’s the point!”

”Now that things have come to this, I just want a Longevity Peach that can please my granny, since you say you can remake one, what are you planning to do?”

Ding! Task from NPC customer Sun Mingze: Create a Longevity Peach that satisfies Sun Mingze. Task completion rewards: 200 RMB, Dough Experience +20, Task Experience +20.

Fu Yu was instantly delighted.

An unexpected one-time reward of 200 RMB!

Fu Yu quickly chose to accept the task.

No matter what, this Longevity Peach must be made for Sun Mingze.

Fu Yu made up his mind and became more attentive to the matter.

When Sun Mingze finished speaking, the first to frown was Yao Shi.

He never expected Fu Yu to have the courage to say such things.

This kid isn’t afraid of problems and dares to take responsibility, which isn’t a bad thing.

But the issue is, he thought the Longevity Peach could be easily made?

Sun Mingze had clearly listed the flavor and filling in the remarks.

The dough master in the kitchen made it according to his instructions, yet he was still dissatisfied.

Yao Shi internally felt that Sun Mingze was here to make trouble!

After all, a Longevity Peach is a Longevity Peach!

It’s not like there’s an old-fashioned or modern version.

If you’re talking about style, theirs is certainly the most authentic kind.

If it’s about taste, it’s definitely among the best.

Yao Shi had strong confidence in their restaurant’s dough master’s skills.

So he wasn’t sure if making it again would meet the customer’s requirements.

He didn’t dare make a decision lightly, how could Fu Yu be so sure?

Inexperience shows immaturity and unreliability.

Did you think this was resolved with just a few words of persuasion?

This customer seemed capable of making a scene, definitely not easy-going!

Additionally... Yao Shi had a headache just thinking about how happy Ren Mingqing looked when he left earlier.

Ren Mingqing’s son had been serving in the military for three years and was returning this year, which the kitchen staff knew of days ago.
