Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3050: Chapter 3059: A Perfect One-Take

On the mountainside, the innocent-looking girl sitting on the stone appeared extremely well-behaved, as if nothing had happened, she smiled and greeted the two, ”You came down? How was it up there? Can you make a wish at the Temple?”

Both Rosalyn and Cyrus Taylor seemed a bit distracted, not realizing that during the time they were entangled, an impatient Sophia had gone up and witnessed their entanglement. She quietly left and returned to the mountainside to wait for them before they came down.

”Yes, you can. I made a wish for you,” Rosalyn appeared more normal than Cyrus Taylor, just like Sophia, as if nothing had happened.

Sophia glanced at her, took the arm of the dazed young man beside her, and smilingly asked, ”How about you, Cyrus?”

Facing his girlfriend’s fair face, the boy felt as if his neck was being choked, instinctively wanting to break free from her intimate gesture. But remembering what Rosalyn had said in the temple, his whole body stiffened like a stone, forcing a smile and awkwardly acting, ”Yes, I made a wish too.”

Sophia pretended as if she knew nothing, glanced at him and then at Rosalyn, and suddenly said with a smile, ”Why do I feel you two seem a bit off?”

Cyrus Taylor immediately refuted nervously, ”No, you’re overthinking it.”

Rosalyn remained calm, just gave him a sidelong glance.

Sophia said ”Oh,” smilingly, ”Good, I thought you were having a fight. Cyrus, you should be more considerate of Rosalyn; she’s my best friend.”

The last thing Cyrus Taylor wanted to hear now were the words ”best friend,” he nodded stiffly, perfunctorily acknowledging.

Rosalyn watched their interactions, wondering if she had discovered something, she glanced at Sophia again.

Before Sophia could look back at her, she withdrew her gaze, and without looking back, began walking down, ”Let’s go, it’s getting cloudy, looks like it’s going to rain. If we don’t leave now, we won’t be able to when it rains.”

”Let’s go.”

”Okay.”

”Cyrus, can you carry my bag? I can’t carry it any longer.”

”Okay.”

The person walking ahead never looked back, nonchalantly as if whatever the two behind did had nothing to do with her. Her slender back was proud and defiant...

After shooting a long take, the Director exhaled heavily and called out, ”Cut!”

Olivia Lewis, Lydia Bell, and Jeremy Payne simultaneously withdrew from their acting state.

The makeup artist immediately went up to touch up their makeup.

The Director excitedly came down and praised the three of them, ”That scene just now was excellent, especially Olivia and Lydia. You two perfectly expressed the emotions of Sophia and Rosalyn. Lydia, you’ve made great progress, well done!”

”Thank you, Director.” Lydia pulled the corners of her mouth into a smile, sneaking a glance at Olivia Lewis. She couldn’t help but get drawn into that feeling, at that moment she felt as if she were Sophia. Clearly aware of her boyfriend’s ambiguous behavior with her best friend, but to hold on to her boyfriend, she chose to pretend as if nothing happened. However, seeing the two also nonchalantly acting dumb in her presence, she couldn’t help suppressing her feelings, deliberately asking if something had happened between them. She even purposefully acted affectionately with Cyrus Taylor in front of Rosalyn, as if announcing their strong relationship.
