Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1615: Chapter 1615: The Actress Arranged by Young Master Si

The makeup artist quite likes her, after all, there are not a few female celebrities in the entertainment circle who are hard to serve. Those with a bit of fame often have big tempers and don’t treat the staff as humans.

Lin Anxin has always been one of the cooperative female artists in the circle, and there are rarely any news of her throwing her weight around.

Moreover, apart from being quite strict about her work, she basically doesn’t make any demands at other times. She goes with the flow and never asks for special treatment. She never puts on the airs of a famous celebrity, overall being very easy to get along with.

It’s precisely because Lin Anxin is the easiest female artist she’s worked with that she was willing to say a bit more now, ”Director Teng is in the waiting room discussing the script with the screenwriter, a bit busy. Did Sister Anxin bring a gift for Director Teng too? You can give it to me if you want, and I’ll pass it on to him after he’s done.”

Lin Anxin politely declined, ”Forget it, I’ll take it over myself. I also want to see how Director Teng and the others are discussing the script.”

”...Alright.” The makeup artist looked a bit strange, not trying to persuade her to stay.

On the way, people on the set greeted her with a kind of hesitant look.

Even if Lin Anxin was slow to react, she sensed the odd looks around her, but she didn’t know why.

She walked in confusion all the way to the director and assistant director’s on-set waiting room and knocked on the door.

”Knock, knock.”

”Come in.”

She turned the handle and entered.

The director turned his head and saw her. His expression was clearly taken aback for a moment, and then he blurted out, ”Anxin, why are you here?”

The question was exactly the same as what the makeup artist had asked.

Lin Anxin was on good personal terms with the director and said with a smile, ”I came back early because of something, planning to start work tomorrow. I happened to have time today to deliver the tea leaves I bought for you.”

She raised the bag in her hand and said with a grin, ”Top-grade Great Red Robe, I’ve tasted it, indescribable flavor. You’ll definitely fall in love with it.”

After saying that, she just noticed that besides the director and screenwriter, there were a few others in the room.

Among them was the assistant director and producer, whom she recognized.

There’s also a woman with a pretty and exquisite but clearly influencer-like face, whom she didn’t know.

She was just about to greet her.

The woman had already gotten up earlier and, looking at her with clearly unfriendly eyes, said, ”Oh, Sister Anxin is back. Just in time. Director, didn’t you say earlier that the issue of revising the script should wait until Sister Anxin returns? Now that Sister Anxin is back, we can discuss it together.”

”What script revision? Wasn’t the script already refined long ago?” Lin Anxin furrowed her brows.

This script was a work the screenwriter devoted five years to, the story was incredibly impressive, every detail could withstand scrutiny.

When they had the script review meeting before, it was decided they wouldn’t make any modifications and would use the original version, wasn’t it?

The director looked as if he had tasted Coptis, subtly shaking his head at her, signaling her to be patient. Helplessly, he introduced to Lin Anxin, ”This is Miss Tiffany, an actor arranged by Young Master Si during your vacation. She’s playing the role of Lan Ruo in the film.”

An actor arranged by Young Master Si!

Lin Anxin immediately understood the director’s hint.

Before breaking up, she anticipated situations like this, so she wasn’t too surprised.

She and Si Chen parted on good terms, it’s normal for him to find a new girlfriend. Besides, she wasn’t even officially his girlfriend before, so it’s even more normal for him to find someone else.
