Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1564: Chapter 1564: Says One Thing, But His Body Tells the Truth

”Is this the place you said was really delicious?” Li Beijue glanced at the wooden stool, noticing some areas that were shiny from too many people sitting on them.

He frowned as if he could catch a fly between his eyebrows, clearly disdainful and unwilling to sit down.

Chi Enen knew about his OCD, so she tugged at him and pulled him to sit on the stool next to hers, then said, ”I found this place on my mobile phone. Lots of people nearby come here to eat. Let’s try it first. If it’s not good, we can switch to another place.”

With Li Beijue’s personality, he wouldn’t even consider trying such a place!

However, seeing Chi Enen so interested, he furrowed his brows but didn’t say he wanted to leave.

The Waiter brought over the menu and poured them a cup of tea before getting busy with other things.

Chi Enen ordered a few dishes based on what she found delicious online and returned the menu to the Waiter, saying, ”And please bring us a bottle of Wong Lo Kat.”

Drinking something cooling like that with barbecue is a must.

”Okay.” The Waiter took the order and went off to take care of things.

In a short while, the charcoal fire, grill plate, and grill paper, along with the dishes Chi Enen ordered, were brought to the table. Chi Enen placed a slice of beef and pork belly in the middle of the grill plate and set a few scallops on the edge. It was a fully loaded grill plate.

Li Beijue watched her skillfully turn the food on the grill plate, the charcoal fire casting a warm and cozy glow on her clean and elegant face. Somehow, he suddenly found himself interested in eating after all.

Very soon, the beef was grilled to perfection.

Chi Enen placed it on his plate and casually pushed over the dipping sauce, saying, ”There are several flavors of sauce here, and I read in the reviews that the sweet sauce and spicy sauce here are the best. Why don’t you try to see which flavor you like?”

Li Beijue tried the sweet sauce.

The taste was surprisingly good.

”The sweet sauce is not bad.”

It was completely different from the taste of barbecue he had before.

If Chi Enen could hear what he was thinking, she would definitely poke fun at him. The taste, of course, is different. The barbecue he’s had before was always cooked by famous big chefs, with complex methods, using top-tier materials, and had to be healthy and nutritious, unlike the barbecue cooked directly by her at a small roadside shop.

After he finished eating the beef, Chi Enen had already wrapped a lettuce pork belly for him. ”Try this, I dipped it in spicy sauce.”

He took it and asked, ”Aren’t you going to eat, Chi Enen?”

Chi Enen didn’t even blink, ”Of course I want to eat, I’m just letting you try the taste first. There’s so much, we can just grill more later.”

Let him try the taste first!

So she wasn’t trying to be considerate of his feelings by letting him eat first!

Li Beijue’s handsome face turned dark as he glared at her. Chi Enen thought he didn’t want it anymore, and then she heard his deep, husky command, ”Feed me!”

Chi Enen wasn’t feeding him for the first time, so she had no psychological pressure and fed the wrapped lettuce pork belly to him.

Li Beijue, in his neat suit, looked every bit the business elite. His arrogant falcon-like eyes were fixed on her face as he opened his mouth and took a bite.

”How is it?” Chi Enen was more concerned about how it tasted. If it wasn’t good, with his OCD personality, he’d definitely want to switch to another place.

Li Beijue chewed twice, his falcon-like eyes narrowing, his profound features relaxing further, ”It’s so-so.”

He said that, but his body’s actions betrayed him. He devoured the remaining pork belly in Chi Enen’s hand. Then he directed, ”This is good, grill more of this.”
