Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1421: Chapter 1421: Li Beijue Wants to Cook Personally?

In a short while, the fish floated to the water surface. Without the buoyancy of the water, the fishing rod in Chi Enen’s hand became heavier, and with the strength of the fish, she had to use all her might to hold onto the fishing rod to prevent the fish from escaping.

But she wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination; she kept feeling that if this continued, the fish wouldn’t escape, but the fishing rod would soon get pulled apart.

Right at this moment, a fishing net accurately scooped the fish struggling on the water surface.

It was Li Beijue!

When the fish was brought ashore, Chi Enen finally got a clear look at the fish she caught.

It was quite large, gray and without scales, making it hard to tell what kind of fish it was.

Behind them, Huo Yi exclaimed with surprise, ”Miss Chi, you have such good luck. You caught such a large salmon on your first sea fishing trip.”

”This is salmon?” Chi Enen pointed at the fish flopping on the deck, a bit incredulous.

The salmon she bought at the supermarket was always orange. She even thought salmon itself was orange or some shade of red close to orange.

She didn’t expect it to look so gray on the outside.

”Yes, this is salmon. Eating salmon right after it’s caught from the sea is the freshest. Miss Chi, would you like me to have the chef prepare it as sashimi for you?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the arrogant man already picked up the fish tail and said calmly, ”I’ll do it.”

”Li Beijue, you want to do it?” Chi Enen looked at the man in front of her incredulously, as if she heard scriptures.

He actually volunteered?

The odds of this happening were as unbelievable as Mars hitting Earth!

Before she could fully process her astonishment, she remembered that this man had once cooked Beer Duck for her before...

Originally, it was supposed to be Beer Duck, but when the dish was served, it turned into Red Wine Chicken. The worst part was, he hadn’t even portioned the chicken; he just tossed the whole chicken into the pot, poured in red wine, and simmered it, finally serving a plate of culinary disaster that gave her a stomachache the whole day.

Although making salmon sashimi is much simpler than making Beer Duck, considering his previous performance, Chi Enen still doubted whether he could really do it.

She paused for a moment, then turned it into a tentative suggestion, ”Um, don’t you dislike doing these things? How about we let the chef do it?”

”Shi-t, you don’t trust me?” He was just bad-tempered, not stupid or blind. The woman’s expression was filled with hesitation, clearly scared of him doing it.

Does she even know who he is!

Do you know how much these hands are worth!

He’s willing to personally make salmon sashimi for her, and instead of being grateful, she dares to complain. She must be tired of living!

Do you know how many women outside dream of having him cook, and he doesn’t even bother!

Li Beijue’s chest heaved as he stared sharply at Chi Enen, with a stance that seemed like he wanted to strangle her with his gaze.

Chi Enen knew that if she dared to speak the truth right now, it would definitely ignite an atomic bomb, so she cleverly changed the subject, ”How is salmon prepared? Do you need to remove the fish skin first? I’ve only bought it in supermarkets before, never seen a live one, really wish to see how it’s processed so I can learn for next time.”

”...” Li Beijue really wanted to tell her that she was pretending too obviously; anyone with eyes could see her eyes spinning, but touching her lively and relaxed expression, somehow the words stuck in his throat turned into, ”You don’t even know that! Dumb! Come with me.”

After saying that, he strode towards the cabin with his long legs.

Chi Enen let out a long sigh of relief and followed his steps.
