Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1346: Chapter 1346: Getting Paid as a Secretary with Nothing to Do

The globe was exquisitely crafted, with a surface that seemed to be made of frosted gold, and the outlines of the four continents were elegantly delineated with tiny diamonds. Under the sunlight, it had an indescribable luxurious beauty.

It looked very valuable at first glance.

Yet he casually shoved it onto her office desk, adjusted the position of the potted plant, and only stopped when he made sure that the plant didn’t obstruct his view.

”Alright, this is how your office desk should be arranged. Don’t mess with it again!”

Overbearing and childish!

Chi Enen had gotten used to his domineering and detail-oriented tendencies, so she didn’t resist him, ”Mm, okay.”

”Someone will come to transfer work to you later. I have a meeting to attend first, wait for me to come back.”

”Okay.”

After all, Chi Enen was Ryan’s representative. Even though Ryan was not as big as the Li Headquarters, it was still a company.

She roughly knew what a secretary needed to do.

Li Beijue seemed really busy. After speaking with her, he left with his things.

After she tidied up the office a bit, a short person dressed in a suit came in, carrying a cushion, with a full smile that didn’t seem too obsequious as he greeted Chi Enen, ”Hello, Miss Chi, I’m Master Jue’s assistant, you can call me Kerry.”

He had already figured out Chi Enen’s identity and dared not be presumptuous in front of her.

”Hello.”

The assistant inconspicuously placed the cushion he brought on her chair, then said, ”Master Jue asked me to explain Miss Chi’s scope of work and what needs to be done.”

”Mm, I understand.” Chi Enen listened patiently.

He continued, ”Here’s how it is, we have already arranged the division of labor previously. For Miss Chi, there aren’t any special tasks at the moment. You’ll just need to take care of Master Jue.”

Take care of Li Beijue? What does that mean?

The assistant had already explained, ”It’s just to see what Master Jue needs, and maybe assist with making a cup of coffee or something.”

Perhaps he also felt this was too blatant, so he added, ”There’s also Master Jue’s schedule, which might trouble Miss Chi. I’ll have the reception transfer the phone line to you. You’ll just need to take the call, and if someone wants to schedule with Master Jue, you’ll look at Master Jue’s schedule and ask Master Jue if he has time, then that’s it.”

After listening for a long time, Chi Enen finally understood. Essentially, she was taking a secretary’s salary for doing the most leisurely work of a switchboard operator.

She felt a bit annoyed.

The assistant misunderstood her meaning and immediately said, ”It might be a bit difficult for Miss Chi to manage Master Jue’s schedule right away, so why don’t I help Miss Chi with it first, and once Miss Chi gets accustomed, take over then?”

Chi Enen quickly shook her head, ”No, I can do it.”

”Then... if Miss Chi has anything unclear, please feel free to call me anytime.”

”Okay.”

The assistant left.

Chi Enen composed herself, sat down, opened her laptop, and started handling Ryan’s matters.

Recently, she also started learning to deal with some of Habsden’s tasks, so even if there was nothing much from Li Beijue’s side, she wouldn’t be idly doing nothing.

She was the kind of person who once engrossed in work, she would forget herself completely.

Once immersed, Chi Enen didn’t have time to think so much, wholeheartedly throwing herself into her work.

It wasn’t until Li Beijue finished his meeting and stood behind her, that she noticed.
