Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 1253: Chapter 1253: Do the Female Doctor and Quan Dongting Know Each Other?

When she received the director’s notification, he mentioned that this VIP patient had work to finish and would rush to the hospital as soon as the work was done. She thought the injury wasn’t serious, just that rich people are pretentious, seeking experts for the slightest injury.

Now looking at it, it’s not just serious, it’s far more severe than she imagined!

The degree of bruising alone is enough to make anyone uncomfortable from enduring the pain.

This seemingly small young beauty actually endured the intense pain and only came to the hospital after finishing ’work’.

Chi Enen was baffled by her glance and frowned slightly, ”Doctor, my leg...?”

”It’s okay, I haven’t started the examination yet.” The female doctor’s attitude improved a lot, pausing before saying, ”It will be quite painful during the checkup, brace yourself.”

”En.”

Her left leg didn’t hurt much anymore; she had endured the pain at its worst, pretending to be unconscious without daring to move, so she wasn’t afraid.

But when the small wooden hammer hit the wound, Chi Enen couldn’t help but take a sharp breath, the color of her lips fading.

”How is it, very painful right?”

”Mm.”

”Here?”

”Not bad.”

”And this spot?”

...

After the female doctor had tapped all over her injured area with the small wooden hammer, she finally stood up. Her eyes behind the glasses showed a bit of admiration, smiling as she said, ”You’re the first patient not to cry out during an examination here. Have a seat.”

Chi Enen’s left leg had been knocked until it was numb from pain, hearing that, she didn’t hesitate to sit down.

The doctor looked at her x-ray, addressing Quan Dongting behind her, ”Your niece’s leg injury reached the bone, but thankfully it’s just a slight soft tissue bruise. The frustrating part is the bruised soft tissue compressed the blood vessels in the leg, causing several burst capillaries and serious blood stasis accumulation. Luckily she came quickly, otherwise with continued pressure, her leg might end up with sequelae.”

Your niece...this tone of speaking seems familiar.

Is Little Uncle acquainted with the female doctor?

Chi Enen turned her head in surprise.

Quan Dongting appeared no different than usual, his thick eyebrows furrowed as he asked the female doctor, ”What needs to be done?”

”Not much to do, start with intravenous infusion, anti-inflammatory and blood stasis removal. I’ll have the nurse massage her leg, trying to disperse the blood stasis. Though the process will be quite painful.”

Upon hearing it would be quite painful, Quan Dongting’s eyebrows furrowed even more, his tea-colored pupils looked at the female doctor, seemingly dissatisfied with this method, ”Isn’t there another way to reduce the blood stasis?”

The female doctor was about to turn around and prepare to write a prescription when she heard his comment. She stopped, turned around with arms crossed, staring at him, the corner of her mouth with a half-smile, ”There is actually.”

”What method?”

”Cut open her leg to release the blood stasis, then stitch it up. This involves daily anesthesia injections which aren’t that painful, but it will leave a scar. Besides, too much anesthesia can lead to drug resistance. In the future, when giving birth or needing anesthesia for other surgeries, there’s a strong possibility of experiencing anesthesia awareness.”

Anesthesia awareness, as the name implies, means the person remains conscious despite receiving anesthesia. The doctor didn’t know this, but this often leads the patient unable to endure the pain, possibly dying on the operating table from pain.

Quan Dongting’s thin lips pressed together suddenly, his tea-colored eyes like glazed glass, showed a trace of awkwardness, saying to the doctor, ”Prescribe the medication, just use the ordinary method.”

”Tsk.” The female doctor seemed to have already known he would choose this, turning back and continuing to write the prescription.
