Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 525 -525: He’s Also in the Infant and Baby Products Industry?

Chi Enen winced as pain shot through the corner of her lip, letting out a small sound.

She noticed he was jealous, and that his domineering, controlling nature had flared up again!

She felt it was necessary to explain once more, to prevent him from clinging to this issue, “Li Beijue, I really just coincidentally ran into the duke you mentioned twice. We truly haven’t even exchanged names, don’t think too much into it.”

Her clear, bright eyes were filled with nothing but honesty.

Li Beijue’s dark, starry eyes looked at her for a few moments, then suddenly let go of her hand, “I didn’t say I didn’t believe you…”

“…” He clearly didn’t believe her.

Chi Enen grumbled to herself internally, without voicing it out loud.

“Chi Enen, clear your office desk, we’re heading out immediately,” Li Beijue dropped the matter with Duke Habsden, his handsome face regaining the aristocratic air it held on usual days, issuing commands with natural ease. After giving instructions, he seemed to remember something, his noble brow furrowing, “Never mind, let the secretary take care of it.”

He picked up the car keys from the desk, walked over, and took Chi Enen’s hand, “Let’s go.”

“Where are we going?” Chi Enen was pulled along without understanding what was happening.

“The last item on today’s schedule.”

…

It wasn’t until the Bugatti stopped in front of a first-line baby products store in the city center that Chi Enen was taken aback.

“Get out of the car.” Li Beijue was calm as he turned off the engine, unfastened his seatbelt, and opened the car door.

Following him out of the car, Chi Enen walked along dazed, asked him curiously, “Li Beijue, didn’t you say you were rushing to a schedule?”

Could it be…

She paused, “Does your company also have a business in infant and baby products?”

She had thought his business was usually in transportation, real estate, and electronic technology; this was unexpectedly… down-to-earth.

She really couldn’t imagine Li Beijue holding new products like baby bottles and diapers for inspection; it just seemed so out of place…

Shit! Hearing her odd tone of voice, Li Beijue knew exactly what was on her mind. Suddenly halting his steps, with a slightly green tinge to his handsome face, he turned around and grabbed Chi Enen’s wrist, “Which eye of yours saw that I was also into infant and baby products?”

“Then you…” What are you doing here?

She had only spoken half her sentence when Li Beijue cut her off fiercely, “Shut up! From now on, you’re not allowed to speak anymore!” If she kept talking, he was afraid he might feel the urge to strangle her.

Is she dumb or stupid! He wasn’t here for work, and of course, it certainly wasn’t for the scenery!

Chi Enen was dragged into the baby products store.

The saleswoman at the large two-story store immediately clustered around them, “Welcome. Good day to both of you, what do you need? I can introduce you to our items.”

The other sale assistants inwardly cursed themselves for not acting faster; otherwise, the customer would have been theirs.

When they caught a glimpse of Li Beijue’s appearance, cursing turned to gnashing of teeth.

Emma, they missed out on such a handsome man.

Just from the aura exuding from this man from head to toe, it was clear he was a big customer!

“Clothes,” Li Beijue surveyed the array of products, ignoring the saleswoman’s ingratiating approach, and cut straight to the chase.

The saleswoman with a spring breeze smile inquired softly, “Certainly. Do you need clothes for a baby boy or a baby girl? And how old is the baby approximately?”

“I don’t know. Less than two months.”

Chi Enen looked at him in astonishment; wasn’t he in rush to finish the last item on his schedule? So his last item of the day was bringing her to buy infant and baby products?

Chi Enen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

But their baby was just over a month old; wasn’t it too early to buy things now?
