Chapter 200 - 201 Chapter 205 The Daylight of Humanity

201: Chapter 205 The Daylight of Humanity 201: Chapter 205 The Daylight of Humanity The sunset was gentle, the evening glow like water, tinting the stone village with threads of golden-red light in the afterglow of the setting sun.

Each house was built with large stones.

Ye Fan and Fifth Grandpa Zhang sat on a bluestone, watching the red sun on the horizon and speaking in low voices.

“Our mysterious ancestor behaved strangely in his later years and often disappeared.

Once, he vanished for more than half a year, and when he reappeared, he brought back two infants, who were extremely special.” They must be the ancestors of the Wang and Lei families, Ye Fan thought, and asked, “What was special about them?” “Those two infants had extraordinary strength, able to lift adults.” This was passed down through the Zhang family.

Ye Fan was astonished.

Infants able to lift adults…

This goes against common sense; no matter how great the talent, it’s impossible, he thought, and asked, “Are they…

human race?” This was a suspicion he had long held; the so-called mysterious bloodline led to many speculations, especially after hearing Tu Fei talk about those secrets, he formed many assumptions.

“You thought the same, didn’t you?

Indeed, besides this, they had other traits, unlike humans.” Fifth Grandpa Zhang’s voice was calm as he said, “Their blood was silver, their foreheads could emit light, they had double pupils, and many other peculiarities.

So much time has passed that much of this information has been lost.” Ye Fan was shocked.

Silver blood clearly wasn’t human; a glowing forehead meant they were surely born with Divine Abilities.

As for double pupils, that was even more special; in ancient palace’s mythology, such people are often ancient emperors.

If not of the human race, it’s hard to say.

“So…

special…” Ye Fan stroked his chin in contemplation.

After a long time, he asked, “Did the Heavenly Source Master say anything?

Didn’t he tell of their origins?” “At that time, the mysterious ancestor behaved bizarrely.

What he did was hard for outsiders to understand.

He personally sealed those two infants…” The Heavenly Source Master instructed later generations to have them marry human wives.

If the children born were also unique, they too should be sealed.

However, he did not reveal their origins.

No one knows how many generations passed, but the blood of the Wang and Lei families gradually turned from silver to red, and they became indistinguishable from normal humans.

Over the years, only occasionally would one or two unique children appear.

Their foreheads would glow, a phenomenon that would subdue after a hundred days.

They were naturally proficient in divine arts and possessed inconceivable powers.

Ye Fan looked toward the stone village.

In the distance, the uneducated youth waved to him, saying, “Brother Ye, my mother said to invite you to eat at our home today.” “Alright, I’ll definitely come.” He agreed with a smile.

This is all too unbelievable, mysterious origins, not of the human race!

He immediately thought of primordial beings.

The Heavenly Source Master is truly audacious!

“The mysterious ancestor lamented in his later years that his biggest regret was not entering the Great Primordial Mine; his unfulfilled wish was not seeing the future of the purple mountain.” Ye Fan’s heart was shaken, unable to calm down.

If I became the Heavenly Source Master…

He thought of many things.

In his later years, would ominous events occur?

What kind of fate awaited him?

This was the last question on his mind.

However, he couldn’t worry about so much now.

He needed Source, needed strength, needed the power to traverse the starry sky.

It had been five years since he came to this world, and every time he thought about it, he felt that time was pressing.

The next day, Ye Fan left the stone village and sealed himself underground, fearing that his breakthrough would be too disruptive and hurt the people in the village.

This time his goal was not merely the perfect state of the Paramita realm and a complete rebirth, but also to break into the Dao Palace secret boundary.

He had been contemplating Jade Lake’s nine secret arts.

Though not complete, with only a few pages recorded in the Heavenly Source Book, it had inspired him endlessly.

“Dao Palace secret boundary, here I come!” For a whole half month, Ye Fan’s place of retreat was quiet, without a sound.
