The Forensic Doctor Better Than a Detective

Chapter 386: Chapter 232: As Long as Jiang An Is Here, No Case Will Remain Unsolved!

With Jiang An’s prompt, Zhang Yean’s originally furrowed brows instantly relaxed.

She suddenly slapped her forehead, then smiled.

Then, Zhang Yean bent down, reached into the toolbox, carefully searched through a pile of tools, and quickly pulled out a pair of latex gloves, deftly putting them on.

As someone who has long worked in scene investigation, she naturally knew that for this important piece of evidence, it must be protected from contamination, avoiding her own skin cells and fingerprints from remaining on it.

Soon, Zhang Yean quickly walked over to Jiang An, taking the wooden stick from his hand.

Everyone’s eyes quickly shifted like spotlights.

At this moment, the originally dark yard was brightly illuminated by lights, all lights precisely focusing on one spot, much like a spotlight on a stage.

Under the strong light, Zhang Yean slightly squinted her eyes, her gaze like a torch focused on one end of the wooden stick.

She gently rolled the stick with both hands, and suddenly, as if she discovered some crucial clue, she stopped her actions.

Then, she quickly turned her head, her eyes resolute, and said, ”Mr. Qin, my fellow student, there are fingerprints here.”

Upon hearing this, everyone instantly erupted like a pot boiling over.

A low murmur came from the crowd, faces full of excitement, some even unconsciously clenched their fists.

Compared to other evidence that could be gathered, such solid fingerprints could completely negate the need for a confession and directly send the suspect to court.

Instantly, everyone’s eyes sparkled with the hope of solving the case.

Just as everyone was immersed in joy, Zhang Yean gently sighed, continuing, ”But there’s a bit of regret, these fingerprints have an issue; they were formed while wearing gloves.”

”Wearing gloves?”

At this moment, everyone’s excited mood instantly plunged into an ice-cold abyss.

The enthusiasm that had just ignited felt like it was doused with a bucket of cold water.

Mr. Qin furrowed his brows tightly, stepped forward, his gaze fixed on Zhang Yean, asking, ”Are you sure?”

Zhang Yean nodded without hesitation, her chin slightly lifted, her gaze firm, ”I’m sure.”

”Because in the area where the fingers contact, you can see mesh-like patterns.”

At this moment, Jiang An quickly stepped forward, reached out and took the wooden stick, and closely examined the direction indicated by Zhang Yean’s finger.

Indeed, he saw several clear fingerprints where his gaze landed.

However, in the middle of the prints, he saw many fine mesh-like, substantial marks distributed.

He tilted his head slightly, seemingly thinking about something.

”Do these have any forensic value?”

Mr. Liu, standing behind him, also curiously poked his head out, eyes wide open asking.

Zhang Yean gently shook her head, swaying slightly with the motion, helplessly said, ”This has no forensic value, it can only indicate the suspect touched this wooden stick.”

”And, it also shows he wore gloves when touching the stick.”

”What kind of gloves are these?”

Mr. Liu pursued the question, his eyes filled with confusion.

Zhang Yean straightened her back, seriously answered, ”Based on my analysis of the marks, it’s very likely woven gloves.”

”Woven gloves?”

Upon hearing this, a light suddenly flashed in Jiang An’s mind.

He unconsciously lifted his head, gazing into the distance, a thought gradually forming in his mind.

Why would he have woven gloves?

If it’s a premeditated crime, then he might wear gloves to prevent leaving his fingerprints on this wooden stick.

But if it was truly a planned crime with strong counter-investigation abilities.

Then why wasn’t this wooden stick destroyed, rather left in a corner of the yard?

Contradiction!

It’s a real contradiction!

In Jiang An’s view, the disposal method of the tool and the gloves worn during the crime are completely contradictory from a criminal psychology perspective.

He slightly furrowed his brows, gently tapping the stick with his finger, falling into deep thought.

At this moment, everyone’s gaze gathered again on Jiang An.

Of course, what they were thinking was not this contradiction, but rather if there is another way to break the impasse?

Everyone’s eyes held anticipation, quietly waiting for Jiang An to speak.

Currently, although the suspect may be Wang Jianghe’s wife.

If there isn’t solid evidence, then mere speculation cannot send her to court, nor can it even establish the case.
