Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2232: Chapter 2226: You Can’t Take the Children Outside

As long as he doesn’t allow Yuan Yunong’s children to be taken out of the kindergarten and repeatedly instructs the guard that without his command, no one is allowed to take the two children out of the compound, the children will be safe.

This military compound is indeed much safer than other places.

There are guards patrolling around the compound, and ordinary people without credentials cannot get in at all.

Qin Jian left, and Yuan Yunong saw Qin Jian going to find the superintendent, which made her feel very puzzled.

She asked other teachers to watch the children for her and went to the superintendent’s office to inquire.

”Superintendent, I’d like to ask, what did Captain Qin just tell you?”

The superintendent disliked Yuan Yunong asking too many questions, frowned: ”Let me tell you, Xiao Yuan, as a kindergarten teacher, you need to pay more attention to the children! Not solely focus your energy on the parents! What Captain Qin said to me is my business, it’s not for you to inquire about, do you understand?”

”I understand.” Yuan Yunong said awkwardly.

”Then get going.” The superintendent impatiently waved her off.

She disliked teachers like this the most, who appeared gentle and graceful outside but were secretly fixated on the military leaders.

Yuan Yunong silently turned to leave.

The superintendent saw her unwilling look and added: ”Some people aren’t for you to be concerned about! Just do your job well, that’s enough! Do you understand what I mean?”

”I understand.”

”That’s fine then.”

Yuan Yunong didn’t get the answer she wanted and returned to the classroom.

She cursed the superintendent in her heart hundreds of times.

She was leaving this afternoon, so she wouldn’t have to face the superintendent anymore.

Thinking of leaving, she had no mood to teach the children.

She simply took the children out to play outside the classroom.

Across the road outside the kindergarten was a spacious small forest. The summer morning sun wasn’t too hot, and the shadows of the trees in the forest were mottled, with sunlight sprinkling in, looking very beautiful.

Sometimes, she could take the children to play hide-and-seek in the forest.

Today, she wanted to take it easy and planned to take the children into the forest to play again.

But when she got the children ready and tried to take them out, she was stopped by the gatekeeper.

”Sorry, Teacher Yuan! You can’t take the children out!”

”Why?” Yuan Yunong was very puzzled. Although that small forest was outside the kindergarten, teachers from several classes often took the children there to play.

The ground there was quite flat, and the small trees could provide shade, making it a nice place to go.

”The superintendent instructed this. In the future, children are not allowed to be taken out of the kindergarten.” The gatekeeper said.

”Why did the superintendent suddenly make this request?” Yuan Yunong frowned.

”You might need to ask the superintendent about that.”

Yuan Yunong suddenly remembered Qin Jian looking for the superintendent, and she understood somewhat.

It seems that this couple is indeed not simple.

The day she took the children for IQ testing, they probably found out.

Perhaps the two of them figured something out, which is why Qin Jian arranged things this way today.

Thinking of this, she couldn’t help but feel a bit worried.

If she couldn’t even take the children out of the kindergarten now, how could she possibly take them out of the compound?
