Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2073: Chapter 2067: Try Tying Me Up Again!

”I disagree!” An Hao and Qin Jian had opposing opinions.

”Don’t be silly! We’ve already talked it through and prepared everything! You’re causing chaos right before the battle!”

”What’s all this about a battle? I just think it’s too cold for the kids! They’re so young; how is this different from child abuse? It was one thing before, but now it’s the coldest days of winter. It’s snowed twice, and even adults are freezing! I won’t allow you to take them!” An Hao grew more determined in her stance.

”It’s okay, Mom, we’re not afraid!” Ning Chenyang pounded his small chest, ”Look how strong we are!”

”Exactly! Train in the cold of winter, train in the heat of summer, defeat Wang Xiaopang!” Ning Chenguang shouted his energetic slogan.

”Silly kids! You’ll catch a chill! The cold winter wind cuts like a knife, it feels like it’s slicing your flesh.”

An Hao’s words brought a hint of fear to the children’s eyes.

”Don’t listen to Mom! It’s not that serious, let’s go! Show Dad that you’re little men! Chenyang, didn’t you always say you wanted to be a soldier? A soldier bleeds, sweats, and doesn’t cry! If you’re afraid of a bit of cold, how will you become a soldier?” Qin Jian said loudly.

”Yes! I’ll listen to Dad!”

”Let’s go!”

An Hao saw that in just a few words, he had taken the two kids away, and she stepped forward to intervene.

Qin Jian pointed back at her, ”Don’t mess around! I’m serious. If you’re disobedient, I’ll tie you up like last time!”

An Hao was infuriated: ”Just try tying me up again!”

”As long as you don’t interfere, I won’t tie you up!” Qin Jian was very serious about the kids’ training, ”History is filled with mothers spoiling their children! Your reluctance will waste all the effort they’ve put in already.”

”Nonsense! I want the kids to be healthy!”

”I want the same! Since both kids want to be soldiers, I need to prepare them for the future! Right now it looks like suffering, but it’s great for building their character...”

Qin Jian’s words were swiftly interrupted by An Hao: ”I won’t allow it!”

”Alright then.” Qin Jian gave in, took An Hao’s scarf from the rack, and tied her up.

”You! Qin Jian, you’re too much!” An Hao shouted in frustration, ”You really tied me up!”

”Sorry, honey! We’ll talk about it later!” After saying that, Qin Jian took the two kids and headed out.

”Dad, is this really okay?” Ning Chenyang asked, worried.

”It’s alright. Dad doesn’t want to tie up Mom; it’s just a last resort! Don’t worry, I won’t tie her tight!” Qin Jian explained to the kids.

He had only loosely wrapped the scarf around An Hao, just enough to temporarily restrict her movements.

Most likely, by the time he took the kids out, An Hao would have freed herself.

”I’m not worried about Mom! I’m worried about you!” Ning Chenguang chuckled, ”When Mom’s angry and ignores you, you’ll really have your work cut out trying to appease her.”

”Push-ups, sit-ups... Dad, how many do you think you’ll have to do before Mom stops being mad?”

Qin Jian: ”...”

The kids are practically mind readers these days! They even know about this!

Qin Jian led the kids downstairs, and they shivered from the cold.
