Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2065: Chapter 2059: Always Thinking of Others

”It’s okay. Although the director has a good relationship with Zhuang Wenhui, she doesn’t agree with Zhuang Wenhui’s way of educating children! This time, she just talked to me, she didn’t say I had to leave. Saying I should resign locally was just Teacher Liu’s imagination. But I could sense from the director’s words that she was very troubled, so I decided to resign!” Yuan Yunong smiled, her smile serene.

”You always consider others so much... but what will you do after resigning?” An Hao thought for a moment and said, ”Are you interested in doing other work? If you are, I can help recommend a job for you.”

Yuan Yunong shook her head: ”No, thank you, I still wish to engage in early childhood education! Besides, the director has already helped me by recommending another job, still at a kindergarten! She said let me work there for a while, and if there’s an opportunity, she will find a way to bring me back.”

After all, her work over the past year has been recognized by all.

Moreover, many of her educational ideas coincide with the director’s.

Most importantly, during this period, she has chatted a few times with the director.

The two of them can especially talk openly with each other.

Previously, there wasn’t such a chance for open mutual chats, so she didn’t particularly understand the director.

Now, once they talked, they felt they were like lifelong friends.

”Alright then! Since that’s how it is, go ahead! But we really want to thank you! Last time, you saved Yangyang and refused to accept our gratitude, and this time you protected two children again, so...”

An Hao’s words were interrupted by Yuan Yunong: ”You really don’t need to mind. I’m not just protecting Chenyang and Chenguang, if other children face the same situation, I would protect them too!”

”Thank you!!” An Hao sincerely thanked her, feeling very sorry for her own pettiness.

She silently said a few apologies to Yuan Yunong in her heart.

”No need to thank me! If there’s nothing else, I’ll head off now.” Yuan Yunong said.

”Wait, Teacher Yuan, I’d like to invite you to a meal! I’m wondering if you would accept my request?” An Hao said.

Yuan Yunong noticed that the glint in her eyes changed, with less wariness and more sincerity.

She then smiled and nodded: ”Alright! I agree! So when and where?”

”If you have time, why not tonight at Nanguofeng?” An Hao said.

”No problem! I’ll definitely meet you then!”

”Great! See you tonight! I’m off now!” An Hao, still needing to go to work, bid farewell to Yuan Yunong.

”Let’s go together! I happen to be leaving too!”

Qin Jian was standing outside the kindergarten, chatting with a comrade, and when he saw An Hao and Yuan Yunong jokingly coming out, he said goodbye to the comrade and went over.

”Teacher Yuan, I heard from An Hao, thank you so much for taking care of the children at the school!”

”Captain Qin, you’re too polite! I’m just fulfilling my duties, doing all that is my job!” Yuan Yunong said.

”Teacher Yuan resigned! It was for the sake of the children’s matters...” An Hao interjected.

”What happened?” Qin Jian didn’t quite understand the situation inside and looked at An Hao confusedly.

”Let’s not talk about that. Didn’t you say you were inviting me for dinner? We’ll meet and chat then! I’m off now, see you later.” Yuan Yunong smiled and waved to the two as she turned and left.
