Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2052: Chapter 2045: Bullied Right at Our Door

Zhuang Wenhui couldn’t believe An Hao actually slammed the door in her face, making her instantly furious!

He raised his hand and banged on the door forcefully, shouting loudly, ”Open the door for me! Is this how you treat your elders? No manners!”

When Zhuang Wenhui first arrived, Zhang Yun had already heard the commotion outside.

She didn’t want to deal with Zhuang Wenhui, so she kept her head down, telling stories to the children.

However, when she heard the crisp sound of a slap, she put down the book and ran outside.

As she reached the doorway, she saw An Hao slamming the door shut.

She was covering her face with one hand, and the area around her eyes was a bit red.

”Let me see!” Zhang Yun said, glaring at her.

”Mom, it’s fine.” An Hao shook his head. ”You should go back inside, the soup is still simmering on the stove! Help me keep an eye on the heat!”

”Let me see!” Zhang Yun pulled away An Hao’s hand, and upon seeing the bright red five-finger mark on his face, she was so angry she could explode, ”Open the door!”

”Mom! Please go inside, let me handle this!” An Hao didn’t want Zhang Yun to intervene.

After all, she had been feeling unwell with high blood pressure these past few days, and her emotions couldn’t get too agitated.

It’s clear that Zhuang Wenhui came here looking for trouble.

Having the mother-in-law face her would inevitably lead to a heated confrontation between the two.

Getting angry is a minor issue, but if it affects the health of the mother-in-law, it wouldn’t be worth it.

If her blood pressure spiked and caused a stroke, she might end up bedridden for the rest of her life.

”Move aside!” Seeing her daughter-in-law was wronged, Zhang Yun couldn’t suppress her anger, ”Zhuang Wenhui isn’t someone to mess with! If you argue with her, you’ll be at a disadvantage! That shameless old hag will just hit you, and you can’t even hit back! She knows that, so she just comes in swinging!”

”I know! I won’t confront her directly! You shouldn’t get angry with her either!” At this point, both were angry, so An Hao had to swallow his anger to persuade the mother-in-law.

”How can I not be angry? She’s bullying you right at your doorstep! If I don’t give her a taste of her own medicine, she’ll really think she can do whatever she wants! Only her family’s child is precious? But does she think my grandson is so easy to bully?” After saying this angrily, Zhang Yun went to open the door.

”Let’s just ignore her, okay? Let her knock!”

”No way! If she breaks the door, I have to spend money to fix it myself!”

This time Zhang Yun was truly furious, An Hao couldn’t dissuade her.

He had no choice but to let her open the door.

Once opened, the two old ladies squared off.

”Zhang Yun, so you’re here too! I thought you were hiding inside like a coward!”

”Zhuang Wenhui! Watch your mouth! I’m warning you, don’t stir up trouble without reason! Kids fighting is their own business. Didn’t your grandson also beat Chenyang and Chenguang black and blue before? When did I ever come looking for you?”

”My grandson lost a tooth! A tooth! Are you going to compensate me?”

”I’ve already told you it wasn’t my grandson’s doing, what more do you want? Kids fight because they’re young and don’t understand anything, they act on impulse! If they don’t understand, do you not understand either? Are you really bullying the Ning Family right at our door? You didn’t say a word when the door opened, you just started hitting people! Aren’t you being too excessive?”

”I’m excessive? I’m just seeking justice for the child, but you all dismiss it with a few words. If I don’t hit you, who else would I hit?”
