Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2042: Chapter 2035: Persuasion

Looking at this chubby kid with that annoying face, Yuan Yunong really lost her temper: ”Stand outside for me!”

”I won’t go!”

”Not going is not an option!” Yuan Yunong reached out her hand to drag Wang Xiaohu out the door, but the child just wouldn’t budge, lying on the ground and throwing a tantrum.

”I just don’t believe it. Today I can’t sort you out!” Yuan Yunong rolled up her sleeves, ready to drag him out, when all the other teachers gathered around.

”Teacher Yuan, you mustn’t get angry with him! His grandfather is Commissioner Wang!”

”Yes. That’s a leader in the military district, if you discipline the child of a leader, do you really think you can keep your job?”

Yuan Yunong’s actions halted for two seconds as she weighed in her mind whether it was worth risking doing this;

”Yunong, don’t be impulsive! They’re just kids!” Teacher Liu pulled Yuan Yunong aside, whispering, ”Don’t be silly! Which one of these kids isn’t from a leader’s family? You’re right to protect the Commander’s kid, but you can’t offend the Commissioner’s kid. You must know, between a reasonable person and an unreasonable one, it’s better to offend the reasonable one, rather than the unreasonable one! Or else you’ll really get caught in a mess you can’t handle!”

”Sister Liu, I understand what you’re saying! Are you saying Commissioner Wang is unreasonable?” Yuan Yunong asked.

”I didn’t say that. Commissioner Wang is a good person, and his son is decent too! They are indeed reasonable people! But, the child’s mother and grandmother are not easy to deal with! Who doesn’t know that in the whole military district compound?”

”Really?” Yuan Yunong wiped a cold sweat off herself, almost inviting trouble just now.

”Isn’t it? Wang Xiaohu is hard to educate! Father and grandfather discipline him, the mother and grandmother coddle him, leading to the child’s very arrogant character! It’s said ’you see how a child will be when he’s three,’ this kid won’t be any good in the future!”

”I got it!”

”Alright. Just don’t be foolish! These kids are little ancestors, they all need to be coaxed!” Teacher Liu shared with Yuan Yunong the principle that’s helped her keep her footing in the military district kindergarten for so many years.

”Sister Liu, I really appreciate you telling me this. But I think if a child is wrong, they should be educated! And there should be clear rewards and punishments! How Wang Xiaohu is at home I don’t care, if he doesn’t follow the rules in kindergarten I won’t let him mess around!” In Yuan Yunong’s heart, she has always had her ways of educating children.

For so many years, her studies on children haven’t been in vain.

Some kids, the more you indulge them, the more unruly they become.

Yuan Yunong appreciated Teacher Liu for advising her in such matters, but she was also a person who does what she says! Having said something, she must carry it out!

She wanted all the kids to see that the teacher is someone who keeps her word.

While Yuan Yunong and Teacher Liu were talking, a war among three kids was still going on on the other side.

”Ning Chenyang, Ning Chenguang! I order you both to lick clean the rice on my shoes!” Wang Xiaohu said with his arms akimbo, breathing heavily.

”Pah! In your dreams!” Ning Chenguang spat vehemently on the ground, accidentally spitting on Wang Xiaohu’s foot.
