Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2026: Chapter 2019: Top Secret

”Don’t move him around. The situation is unclear now, if you move him, it might cause unnecessary secondary injuries,” said the traffic police who came to the rescue.

”Okay, I understand! I’ll stay here with her, and wait for the ambulance to come.”

After waiting for over ten minutes, the ambulance arrived.

There were too many casualties in this car accident. Many people on the bus were also injured.

The severely injured were prioritized to get on the ambulance, while those with minor injuries who could walk would go to the hospital on their own for bandaging.

The doctors and nurses arrived with a stretcher, assessed the situation of Qiang Jian and the guard Xiaozhou on site, and immediately made a judgment.

They first sent Xiaozhou, whose condition was more serious, onto the vehicle for emergency treatment, then Qin Jian onto another ambulance.

”I’m a family member of the injured, I request to go along,” Lin Qiushu said.

The doctor agreed. Lin Qiushu was about to get in the car when she suddenly heard the traffic police shout, ”There’s a bag in here too!”

”Give it to me!” Lin Qiushu quickly took the bag and followed Qin Jian into the car.

On the way, the doctor first established an intravenous line and started giving Qin Jian an IV.

Lin Qiushu hugged that bag tightly and asked nervously, ”How is he? Is his condition serious?”

”Don’t worry. He’s not in life-threatening danger! But for further details, we’ll need to conduct a comprehensive check after going to the hospital before we can be sure,” the doctor said.

Lin Qiushu felt relieved after hearing that Qin Jian wasn’t in life-threatening danger.

As soon as the ambulance arrived at the hospital, Qin Jian was pushed inside for examination.

Lin Qiushu waited for him outside, noticing that she was holding this bulging bag.

Out of habit, she opened the zipper of the military crossbody bag, inside was an envelope.

On it were written the words ”Top Secret.”

The news of the car accident at the intersection that morning spread quickly.

The police contacted the military.

Zhang Jianguo received the call and immediately informed An Hao of the situation, who then reported it to the Commander.

Before long, the military hospital became quite busy.

Qin Jian was pushed out, and Lin Qiushu quickly stood up to ask about his condition.

”He’s fine. Just a minor injury! Only a concussion from the head impact! We’ve already medicated him, he should wake up soon! You can rest assured,” the doctor briefly explained to Lin Qiushu to ease her worry.

Qin Jian was pushed back to the ward, and Lin Qiushu casually placed the bag at his bedside.

At this moment, An Hao arrived first, seeing Qin Jian injured, her heart was in her throat.

”Don’t worry! He’s already been checked, and I’ve asked the doctor too. The doctor said he’s fine, just some concussion, and he’ll be okay once he wakes up.”

Lin Qiushu reassured An Hao, afraid that she might get overly anxious.

”Really? That’s great!” An Hao patted her own pounding heart, really worried that something might happen to Qin Jian.

”However, his guard Xiaozhou is more seriously injured and is still in surgery being rescued,” Lin Qiushu sighed.

”How did this car accident happen? Why were you at the scene at that time?” An Hao asked, puzzled.

”Wasn’t I in a hurry to discuss business? As a result, I saw the car accident when I reached the intersection. I was originally going to take the bus. But unexpectedly, I found the license plate very familiar, so I went over to take a look, and it turned out it was really my brother!” Lin Qiushu was glad she was at the scene.
