Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Capítulo 1953: Chapter 1946: The Beautiful Night Comes to an Abrupt End

“Chenyang!” Zhang Yun said anxiously, “I don’t know what’s going on with these two kids? Guangguang just had a fever a few days ago, and now Yangyang is acting up again! My heart is really aching!”

At this moment, An Hao also got dressed and came out, saying to Zhang Yun, “Mom, don’t worry, Qin Jian and I will take the kids to see the emergency doctor right away.”

The beautiful night came to an abrupt end like this.

On the road, a military vehicle sped quickly.

In the car, An Hao held the feverish child tightly, her face full of worry.

“What’s wrong? You look so serious,” Qin Jian saw his wife’s expression through the rearview mirror.

“It’s nothing. The kids’ immunity is too weak! I’ve taken them to the hospital often these past two months,” An Hao sighed deeply, “They’re not lacking in food or nutrition, but why are they so frail? It’s like they’re taking after me when I was little.”

When An Hao was a child, she went to see the doctor every few days.

But there was nothing major, aside from colds, fevers, and coughs.

The only serious case was pneumonia; fortunately, it was treated in time, otherwise, even her little life might have been in danger.

This is what her mother told her after she grew up.

“Don’t worry too much. When the kids get a bit older, I’ll have them train with me every day. I promise to make these two little ones as strong as tigers!” Qin Jian said.

An Hao initially thought he was just saying it, but later she didn’t expect he really meant it.

But let’s talk about the current situation.

At the hospital, the emergency doctor examined the child.

Chenyang’s body didn’t have any major issues, just that the sudden cool weather made the child’s body a bit unaccustomed.

Additionally, his throat was a bit red, and there was inflammation in his body.

Combined, these factors caused the child to have a fever at night, and it remained a high fever.

The doctor gave the child a small injection in the buttocks and prescribed some medicine, instructing An Hao to give it to the child on time at home.

She was told to keep a close eye on the child at night. If the fever returned even after the antipyretic injection, to use physical methods to reduce the child’s temperature.

What was supposed to be a peaceful night turned into a sleepless night because of Ning Chenyang’s illness.

The child’s fever lasted three days, his little lips peeling twice, making Zhang Yun utterly heartbroken.

Little Chenyang disliked taking medicine, each time administering it was quite the ordeal.

Almost half of it would go to waste.

The efficacy of the medicine was naturally halved.

After three days, the condition hadn’t eased; instead, due to the autumn chill, the child’s lungs were affected, resulting in a persistent cough.

Seeing the little one curled up on the bed, looking so frail, the entire family’s hearts were tightly clenched.

“I’ll still take him to the hospital. If necessary, we’ll have to do an IV.” Over the past two months, with the two kids taking turns falling ill, medication couldn’t be administered, leaving no choice but to try something else.

An Hao took the child directly to the affiliated hospital, so after consulting the child, she could head straight to work without delay.

Zhang Yun came along, so when An Hao went to work, she could look after her little grandson.

The pediatrician examined the child again and did a blood test; after confirming there was no major problem, the child was given an IV.

Seeing the situation beginning to stabilize, An Hao returned to the operating room.

There was a major surgery in the morning, and after it ended, just as she walked out of the operating room, she saw a young nurse who had recently joined standing at the door waiting for her.
