Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1329: Chapter 1329: It Seems I’ve Seen Her Somewhere Before

”I don’t know.”

”I just saw this old lady suddenly collapse while walking.”

”Could she have suffered from some kind of illness?”

People were discussing fervently, and some kind-hearted individuals even wanted to move the elderly woman, thinking about carrying her to the hospital for treatment.

”Don’t move her, don’t move her at all,” Qin Jian hastily stopped them, ”If she has suffered a fall injury or has any other problem, moving her could cause secondary injury.”

Seeing that the speaker was a soldier, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him: ”What should we do now? The hospital is far from here... It would be great if there was a vehicle to take her there.”

”Leave it to me.”

Having said that, Qin Jian quickly made her way out of the crowd. She went to the side of the car, opened the door, and said to An Hao, ”An elderly person has fainted at the intersection ahead. She looks to be about seventy years old, and it seems like she is running out of breath. Can you come down and take a look?”

”Here, help me up,” An Hao, with her pregnant belly, swiftly moved to the scene.

When the crowd saw the pregnant woman coming down, they didn’t understand the situation, but they all made way for her nonetheless.

An Hao approached, struggling to half crouch, and checked the elderly woman’s condition, discovering she no longer had a pulse and her heart had stopped beating.

”Qin Jian, follow my commands from now on, do as I taught you,” An Hao said.

”Right,” Qin Jian nodded.

”Now I want you to perform chest compressions for her,” An Hao said while demonstrating the position, ”Arms straight, hands overlapped, yes, just like that, place them here... Press down firmly with your arms, keep them straight and continue compressions... Don’t stop...”

Qin Jian, following the method taught by An Hao, repeatedly performed chest compressions.

A group of observers closely watched the situation.

”Could everyone please step back to allow some ventilation?”

After another ten minutes of pressing, the elderly woman finally showed some reaction.

”Hurry, get her onto the car,” An Hao directed the people, ”Move her as I told you...”

The onlookers exerted some effort to get the elderly woman onto the car. Thankfully, as she was advanced in age and not heavy, it wasn’t particularly difficult to lift her.

Without getting into the vehicle, Qin Jian drove to the PLA Affiliated Hospital in a flash.

The emergency department on the first floor, hearing of the arrival of a patient, hurriedly went to receive her. An Hao gave them a brief description of the situation and the rescue process.

Afterwards, the emergency doctor made a judgment, and the patient was eventually transferred to the cardiac surgery ward.

Yan Ye happened to be on duty. Hearing that a patient had arrived, he quickly organized the staff for the rescue.

Now that the patient had been safely delivered to the hospital, Qin Jian and An Hao were ready to leave.

I suddenly felt that this elderly woman seemed somewhat familiar.

”I think I’ve seen her somewhere before,” An Hao stopped in her tracks, closed her eyes, and thought carefully in her mind.

”Let’s go, if we dally any longer, we’ll be late,” Qin Jian lifted his wrist, checked the time, and said.

”Wait a moment,” An Hao hastily grabbed his arm. After a scene flashed through her mind, she opened her eyes, ”No need to go.”

”Hmm?”

”I remember now. This elderly woman is Lin Qiushu’s relative,” An Hao stated.

That day in the sanatorium’s garden, an old woman stood by Lin Qiushu, surveying An Hao with a peculiar gaze.

That old woman was precisely the one they had revived today.

No wonder she felt a sense of familiarity.
