Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1285: Chapter 1285: Stay Away from Me

”Okay! I’ll listen to you! Whatever you say!” Qin Jian flipped onto the bed, pulled back her thin blanket, and squeezed in.

He gently wrapped his arms around An Hao’s waist from behind, his chest pressed close to her back, her soft body and the scent emanating from it stirred Qin Jian’s emotions.

Unable to help himself, Qin Jian’s movements began to become restless.

An Hao originally couldn’t sleep either and with Qin Jian stirring things up like this, it became unbearably difficult for both of them.

”Keep some distance between us!” An Hao couldn’t stand it anymore and turned her head to issue an order to Qin Jian.

”Why?” Qin Jian asked innocently.

”It’s too hot. I can’t take it, being too close makes it easy to get heat rash.”

”Okay.” Qin Jian obediently turned to the other side, but it was not even half an hour before he turned back again.

After repeating this a few times, An Hao finally exploded. She rolled out of bed, grabbed the thin blanket, and said, ”I can’t sleep in this room anymore, I’m going to find Gu Shuangshuang!”

Qin Jian suppressed a smile and pretended to look aggrieved, ”I came all this way to be with you, and you’re so cruel, you really have the heart to leave me and go find Gu Shuangshuang?”

An Hao thought about it and felt it was indeed too pitiful for Qin Jian.

So, she turned back, took two quilts from the closet, and placed them in the middle of the bed, ”This is the 38th parallel! Nobody is allowed to cross it!”

”Alright!” Seeing that it was getting late, Qin Jian no longer toyed with An Hao. He turned giving An Hao his back, deeply suppressing his impulses. After a long while, he finally fell asleep.

An Hao lay on the other side of the bed, tossing and turning for a long time, only falling asleep as daylight broke.

The next morning, when Qin Jian saw she was sleeping sweetly, he left her a note and left.

An Hao slept until the sun was high in the sky. If not for the knocking outside that woke her up, she might have slept until it was dark without a problem.

She groggily got out of bed, her eyes ringed with dark circles, to open the door.

Gu Shuangshuang couldn’t help but tease her upon opening the door, ”What’s up? Did you and Commander Qin get cozy last night? Look at the way you slept, it’s almost noon!”

”No way! We just chatted under the quilt!” An Hao stretched lazily and strolled slowly to the bathroom to wash her face.

”Chatting like this? I don’t believe it at all!”

”Believe it or not!”

............

Nancheng City, a certain group army, headquarters.

Tian Niu, with his luggage, stood at the door of the headquarters office and shouted, ”Report!”

”Come in!” Qin Jian closed the document he was working on and looked up, just as Tian Niu strode in, giving him a solemn military salute, ”Company Commander Tian Niu reporting for duty!”

Qin Jian returned the salute and motioned for him to sit down, ”Well, that was quick! I’ve only been reassigned here a few days, and you’ve been transferred back already? Could they afford to let you go?”

”Of course! I’m not as important as you, Commander! So, after filing a report, it was quickly approved!” Tian Niu said cheerfully, ”Commander, I have had a hard time following you! You’re not going to run off again this time, are you?”

”What do you mean by ’run off’? Did I make you chase me here and there? Clearly, it was because you missed Gu Shuangshuang that you followed, right?” Qin Jian could count Tian Niu’s ulterior motives even with his eyes closed.

”Hehe! Commander, you really guessed wrong this time! If I wanted to find Gu Shuangshuang, I would have gone directly to the Nanji Military Region! Isn’t it because I have feelings for you and the Northern Military Region?” Tian Niu said with a naive smile.
