Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1046: Chapter 1046: So Much Strength, Can’t Use It All!

However, ever since she had stolen his elder brother’s military shorts, he had started to doubt Song Yueqin’s character.

Would a proper woman steal a man’s underpants? Especially when that man was her husband’s elder brother!

Moreover, last night she had been out for so long, and when she returned, she had a wound on her forehead and her clothes were smeared with firewood.

How could he not have his suspicions?

However, he hadn’t thought Song Yueqin capable of having an affair.

”Any more questions?” An Hao asked, ”If there are no more questions, I’m leaving.”

”No more.” Qin Fen shook his head, ”Sister-in-law, go ahead! I won’t see you out.”

........................

An Hao’s comments had genuinely cast a shadow in Qin Fen’s heart, leaving a mark.

With the New Year coming up, he didn’t want to spoil the festive mood.

So these past few days, he had spared Song Yueqin from any harassment.

However, if he did find out that Song Yueqin had indeed done something to betray him, he definitely wouldn’t let her off lightly.

Qin Fen kept this matter to himself and showed nothing outwardly.

However, whenever Song Yueqin went out, he secretly followed her.

For several days, Song Yueqin went about her usual business, either visiting her parent’s home or going to the village store to buy food.

There was nothing unusual about her behavior.

As New Year’s Eve approached, there was a full-month celebration for a child from a neighboring village, and he bought some gifts for the occasion.

Just as he was leaving the village, he ran into Yang Erdan from the same village.

Seeing him about to leave, Yang Erdan called out from a distance, ”Qin Fen, with the New Year so close, where are you off to?”

”It’s my buddy’s child’s full-month celebration in Chen Village, I’m going there for the celebration,” Qin Fen replied.

”Oh, that’s a happy occasion, have a few extra drinks!” Yang Erdan said with a laugh as he waved his hand.

”The sun must have risen from the west today,” Qin Fen laughed and shook his head; normally, they barely spoke when they saw each other, but today it was quite warm.

Qin Fen rode off on his bicycle.

Yang Erdan then went to Qin Fen’s house to find Song Yueqin, striding boldly to the door.

Upon arriving, he called out at the doorway: ”Uncle, Auntie, are you there?”

Hearing this, Song Yueqin, who had been lying lazily on the warm kang and not intending to get up, hurried into her clothes and opened the door to look outside, only to find it really was Yang Erdan!

She leaned against the doorframe, smiling lazily, ”You’ve got some nerve, daring to enter like this.”

”I’ve got some business with Uncle and Auntie,” Yang Erdan said earnestly.

”Your uncle accompanied your auntie to the town’s market! It’s the last market session before the New Year, so they had to buy some things,” Song Yueqin said with a smile, ”What? Do you still need to see your Qin Erdan?”

”No need,” Yang Erdan then revealed his true intentions, ”I came to see sister-in-law.”

”What do you want with me?” Song Yueqin smirked, her face brimming with frivolity.

”Haven’t seen sister-in-law for a few days! Worried no one’s been watering you, afraid your fertile fields have dried up.” Yang Erdan laughed lewdly.

”Alright!” Song Yueqin gestured him over with a crooked finger, ”You’d better put in some effort!”

”Yang Erdan’s got nothing else but strength to spare!” Yang Erdan declared, and with that, he rushed forward and hugged Song Yueqin tightly, ”You must have missed me terribly!”

”You impudent ghost! You’ve got some nerve running to my house!” Song Yueqin said, while she began to tear at Yang Erdan’s clothes.
