Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1024: Chapter 1024: The Ill Do Not Shun the Doctor

Li Junping had seen things clearly now, she must bring Qin Fen to An Hao’s side. After she and Old Qin had passed away, there always needed to be someone to lead Qin Fen on the right path.

If he continued like this, he would definitely not be able to support the future of the Qin Family!

Not to mention supporting the entire household, he probably wouldn’t even be able to live a decent life on his own!

”Enough, Mom! Stop nagging! I got it!”

Qin Fen was dragged reluctantly into the north room by Li Junping and saw An Hao sitting cross-legged on the kang, playing with Little Fengsheng.

”Call her sister-in-law!” When Li Junping saw him standing there stupidly and not greeting her, she lifted her leg and kicked him in the back.

”Sister-in-law.” This time, Qin Fen’s attitude was greatly different, which surprised An Hao.

She nodded her head, said nothing, and continued to play with the child.

”Your sister-in-law said that she will go back and ask the doctor about your issue! If you have any symptoms, just tell your sister-in-law.”

”What?” Qin Fen bristled, ”Mom! What are you talking about? Is it appropriate to talk to my sister-in-law about a man’s matter?”

”Why is it inappropriate? A disease does not avoid a doctor! Don’t you even understand this principle?”

”I... I can’t say it.” Qin Fen stammered; after all, he was a man and just couldn’t bring himself to talk about such things in front of his sister-in-law.

”You don’t have to say it. I understand!” An Hao said indifferently, ”I will go back and ask about your issue. If there is a good treatment plan, I will tell you!”

”That would be great! Thank you, An Hao!” Li Junping felt much relieved when she saw that An Hao was willing to take care of the matter.

Qin Fen had seen quite a few folk doctors during this period, and he had tried many remedies without any success.

He would say he wouldn’t look anymore, but whenever there was hope of a cure, he just couldn’t help but go and see the doctor again.

This back and forth had practically driven him crazy over the course of the entire year.

If An Hao could really find a good doctor in a big hospital to cure Qin Fen, that would be perfect.

Seeing that Qin Fen had come over and been behaving calmly, Qin Ru Hai said to him, ”Fix your temper! It’s okay that you didn’t respect your sister-in-law before, but from now on, you must respect her. Respect the elder sister as you would your mother; how you respect your mom is how you should respect your sister-in-law.”

”Yeah, yeah, yeah.” Qin Fen frowned impatiently, ”I know all that! Dad, please spare me the lecture!”

”There’s no need to thank me,” An Hao’s tone was light and breezy, ”After all, I don’t know if it can be cured, I’m just going to ask for you.”

”Okay.” Qin Fen rubbed his hands, wanting to say a few words of thanks, but he opened his mouth and couldn’t speak.

An Hao didn’t stay long at the Qin family’s house before she left. Li Junping insisted on her staying for dinner, but An Hao didn’t want to eat there, just looking at the faces of Song Yueqin and Qin Fen was enough to upset her.

She could feel indifferent towards Qin Fen and couldn’t really have any good impressions or affection for him, was she willing to help him just for the sake of Qin Jian?

The Qin family elders also had it hard, especially Li Junping, who had aged rapidly over the past few years because of the family’s troubles.

Seeing how she particularly relied on her now, An Hao guessed that after her departure, Li Junping would also entrust Qin Fen to Qin Jian.

If Qin Fen’s life didn’t go well, it could end up bothering Qin Jian alone.

Maybe she was also making plans for her own future?

The whole family escorted An Hao to the door, and right before she left, Qin Fen, not knowing what got into him, said to An Hao, ”Sister-in-law, I regret not listening to you and brother’s advice! If I had listened earlier, I wouldn’t have ended up like this.”
