Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 864: Chapter 864: Use Some Special Means

”Sister-in-law! I’ve been wondering, how have you managed this past half year?” An Hao said.

”Don’t even mention it, ever since she got divorced, there hasn’t been a single day that’s been easy for me,” Zhang Guifang sighed, ”Even though she was adopted as a child, everyone in the family was fond of her. I watched her grow up when I married into the Li Family. This little vixen has always been crafty, stirring up trouble with her tongue! And yet, she managed to hoodwink everyone in the family; they believed anything she said. I had no choice but to put up with her! But hiding like this is no solution, there has to be an end to this somehow.”

”Sister-in-law, you mentioned she got divorced. Why did she get divorced?” An Hao casually asked.

”Isn’t it because of that good-for-nothing man she married! That man was a gambler, and not long after getting married, he lost all their property gambling! You see, the man would gamble, and Xin Ni joined in, hoping to win back the money, but this kid ended up losing even more!” Zhang Guifang heaved a sigh, ”In the beginning, Xin Ni still knew to pay back the debts, but as the gambling debts piled up, she simply got crooked ideas. She tricked the man into signing divorce papers when he was drunk.”

”Then wouldn’t that man be furious after finding out?” An Hao asked.

”Of course he was furious! It’s exactly why Xin Ni has been dodging and hiding! The man has been searching all over the world for her, causing a scene at her family’s house! Eventually, he found out Xin Ni was in the military, but he was helpless, couldn’t even get through the gate; what’s there for him to make a fuss about! So that’s why Xin Ni has been living at home,”

Zhang Guifang mentioned, feeling exasperated. If she had known earlier that this was the reason, she would have never allowed Xin Ni to enter her home.

Previously, Xin Ni had said she was borrowing money from her own father for medical treatment, but she ended up staying at their house and not leaving.

”Sister-in-law, now we can handle this.” Upon hearing this, An Hao had an idea, ”It’s not right for her to keep freeloading at your place. Now that you’ve seen her true colors, you should think of a way to find her husband, and when the time comes, have him take her away.”

”What I’m worried about is that when the time comes, she won’t leave, and I’m afraid your brother Li won’t let her go either.” That was Zhang Guifang’s biggest concern.

”Don’t worry about that, I have a way! You go find Xin Ni’s man as soon as possible!” An Hao said confidently, ”We must vent this frustration and let brother Li see Xin Ni’s true face.”

”This little bitch has so many tricks up her sleeve! I’m afraid... I’m afraid your brother Li won’t believe it! I’m no match for this little hussy,” Zhang Guifang lamented – otherwise, she wouldn’t have let this woman wreak havoc in their home.

”Sister-in-law! It’s because the bad people always seem to thrive that they have no moral bottom line in their hearts, and their conscience has long been extinguished, which is why they often do whatever they wish. We’ve always been passive because we have been abiding by our own bottom line! To deal with such people, we need to use some special measures, don’t we?” An Hao had already thought it through.

”You mean to fight poison with poison?” Feng Chunhua caught on.

”That’s roughly the idea.”

”Alright!” Zhang Guifang made up her mind, prepared to go all in, ”I’ll send a telegram to the family tomorrow! I’ll have them send a message to Xin Ni’s ex-husband.”

.........

Xin Ni ran back home in one breath and burst into her room, beginning to cry.
