Chapter 853: Chapter 853: Obsessed with the Feeling of Being with You

To make the evening party more interesting, the commander’s wife gathered all the families together, hoping to get everyone actively involved.

An Hao, lacking in artistic talent, hadn’t planned on participating, but the commander’s wife forcibly assigned her a task.

She was told she must take part and was given two choices!

The first option was to perform a solo act! The second, to join a group performance!

Without a second thought, An Hao chose the group performance.

But when she found out what the group performance entailed, she almost burst into tears—it involved her husband, Qin Jian.

In an era where ballroom dancing was all the rage, it was naturally an activity in the military as well.

So, the performance that she and Qin Jian had to participate in was a group ballroom dance.

Qin Jian couldn’t dance, and she barely knew how, so every night they both had to go outside to practice ballroom dance.

Initially, An Hao wasn’t too keen on it, but later she found it quite fun.

Being held by Qin Jian every night, entering the dance floor with the music, spinning and sweating under everyone’s gaze, they looked into each other’s eyes, brimming with affection.

At times like these, An Hao felt as if her youth was on fire, her blood boiling with excitement!

She loved that feeling!

So now, besides studying outpatient care at the health clinic, what she looked forward to most every day was dancing in the auditorium with Qin Jian.

At dusk on the weekend, after making dinner, An Hao urged Qin Jian, who was drafting military plans at his desk, to come and eat.

”What’s this? It seems you’ve become quite taken with dancing!” Qin Jian let An Hao drag him away from his desk to the dining room.

An Hao handed him his chopsticks, ”You’re wrong. I like dancing with you, not just dancing! Hurry up and eat, then we can go together.”

Qin Jian laughed heartily, ”You now seem like a playful child.”

”But it’s playing with you,” An Hao took a bite of her steamed bun and blinked at Qin Jian, ”It makes me feel like we are in a passionate romance.”

”You want a feeling of passionate romance? It’s always available!” Qin Jian hooked his arm around An Hao’s neck, lowered his head to kiss her lips, ”If you don’t mind...”

”I mind!” An Hao knew he was bound not to say anything proper next and quickly interrupted, ”Eat properly! We should leave early to come back early.”

She was indeed hooked on dancing, but that was merely because she cherished doing something together with him.

”Alright. I’ll listen to everything my wife says.” Qin Jian finished eating in no time, washed the dishes, and was ready to leave with An Hao.

Unexpectedly, the phone at home rang, and he let go of An Hao to answer it.

He kept saying ’yes’ into the receiver and then hung up.

”The commander wants me to drop by. I might not be able to go with you,” Qin Jian said.

”Ah?” An Hao sounded disappointed, ”How long will it take?”

”It’s just a brief discussion about the upcoming military exercise,” Qin Jian estimated, ”Probably only about half an hour! You go first, I’ll come to find you later.”

”Alright then!” An Hao agreed, and went to the auditorium by herself.

When she arrived, she noticed that today there were many more soldiers dancing, all in male pairs choreographing together.

As she wondered about this, a group of young soldiers jokingly nudged their way over to An Hao.
