Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 780: Chapter 780: Want to Play with You

Under Gu Shuangshuang’s strong persuasion, An Hao, Lei Linxuan, and Zhang Juan were dragged to the ice skating rink.

Previously, everyone thought that when Gu Shuangshuang mentioned ice skating, she was referring to rollerblading, but it wasn’t until they entered that they realized it was actual ice.

The people who came here to skate were all paired up, men and women; it was clear they were here on dates.

”As a married person, shouldn’t I be out of place here?” An Hao began to regret coming, ”Besides, I can’t skate. If I accidentally injure my hand or neck, how many days would I be unable to hold a scalpel?”

”Oh, please!” Gu Shuangshuang gave her a disdainful look, ”You make it sound as if you’re a doctor! You’re actually just a student, haha! Enough nonsense, I, your sister, will teach you.”

Seeing that there was no escape, An Hao figured she might as well go along with it since she was already there.

An Hao put on her ice skates and, supported by Gu Shuangshuang, she walked gingerly on the ice, terrified of taking a big fall.

Lei Linxuan and Zhang Juan supported each other but ended up sprawling on the ice as soon as they entered the rink.

”Hahahaha!” Gu Shuangshuang couldn’t hold back her laughter, shaking all over, ”Look at how clumsy you two are. Oh my, I’ve really seen it all.”

”Shuangshuang, can’t you stop laughing?” An Hao felt that her laughter was enough to make her quake, ”I’m worried you might fall over and drag me down with you.”

No sooner had An Hao finished speaking, than Gu Shuangshuang went down with a thud.

Before she could figure out what was happening, An Hao, too, went crashing to the ground.

”I was just saying, schadenfreude! You were bound to come to grief from too much joy!” An Hao said, rubbing her sore knee.

”It wasn’t me who fell on my own! It was them!” Gu Shuangshuang pointed angrily, and saw three thugs approaching at the speed of a hundred-meter sprint. Just as it seemed they would collide with Gu Shuangshuang and her, they swiftly changed direction, circled three times, and surrounded them thoroughly.

One look at these three and it was clear they were up to no good.

It was they who had pushed Gu Shuangshuang, resulting in An Hao falling with her.

”What do you want?” Gu Shuangshuang stood up angrily, her eyes fixed on the three men, the leader looking scruffy with a scruffy beard and a whistle in his speech, missing two teeth on closer inspection.

”Nothing much!” The other party’s lecherous eyes roamed over Gu Shuangshuang’s body for a while before speaking, ”I just saw how happy you looked while laughing, and I wanted to join in the fun.”

”Are you fucking sick? Is this how you have fun, by pushing people to the ground? Do you find that amusing?” Gu Shuangshuang glared intently at them and said, ”How about I push you around for fun too?”

”Come on! If you can knock me down, then I’ll do whatever you say, brother,” he taunted.

”You’re quite bold!” Gu Shuangshuang rolled up her sleeves.

”Yes! They call me the Overlord of South Street! Now, I’ve given myself a new title, Ice Overlord! You can call me Brother Wang Jiu!” Wang Jiu boasted, thumping his chest.

”Wang Jiu? Hahaha! I think Wang Bastard suits you better!” Gu Shuangshuang laughed unrestrainedly, timing her move to pounce at Wang Jiu.

An Hao saw the three of them quickly exchange glances and urgently stopped Gu Shuangshuang: ”Don’t! Watch out for their trickery!”

But as soon as her warning dropped, Gu Shuangshuang had already lunged forward, too late to stop the skate blades beneath her feet.
