Chapter 496: Chapter 221: The Unstoppable White Swan! The 3-Year Promise Finally Arrives! (Seeking Support)_6

So at this moment, Wei Yuan was transferred from the business association, no longer needing to handle its affairs. In the future, many of the day-to-day matters of the association would be managed by Wei Family’s eldest son and father, while Yuan’Er herself would become the Pavilion Master of Immortal Robe Pavilion.

Wei Yuan felt both excited and scared. Being the Pavilion Master, what would Yuchi be? Yuchi’s answer was very simple; he said he was the man behind the Pavilion Master... Leaving the young lady blushing, her beautiful face lowered.

Indeed, whether to avoid suspicion or to share the burden, there was no need for Wei to become the Pavilion Master of Immortal Robe Pavilion. Immortal Robe Pavilion was inherently a place for women, where Yuan’Er could handle things, and her meticulous mind was far superior to his roughness.

And from then on, Yuchi’s only public identity would be the Commerce Association President. The association would be protected by Immortal Robe Pavilion, which in turn would be safeguarded by Song Bei or Zong Liangqing, making everything stable.

Thus, with Yuan’Er’s assistance, she quickly found materials of real value, far surpassing Yuchi, who was only half-knowledgeable. Truly, she was a lady from a Clothing Town family, knowledgeable in countless things, even stunning Su Ruyi, who thought to herself how much this young girl knew!

Many of the silk materials they were using were brought out for the first time, and with just a few words, Yuan’Er could instantly understand, speaking with clarity and order, truly impressive.

”Speaking with experts is truly relaxing!”

So the first task was related to Xu Ruyi, and with Yuan’Er’s support, Yuchi purchased two kinds of silk materials, not bothering to ask their names. Once Yuan’Er negotiated the prices, he paid promptly.

The exclusive period for the two types of silks was three years, and each year it required the purchase of twenty thousand taels worth of silk, roughly able to produce two thousand sets of clothes, making it about twenty taels per bolt of cloth.

Originally, it was one thousand taels per bolt of cloth, later one hundred taels, but after seeing the styles of Immortal Robe Pavilion’s garments, it was voluntarily reduced to twenty taels... It turns out that for these things without a market, it’s all determined by the pricing party.

By calculating slightly, a bolt of cloth costing twenty taels can make two pieces of clothing, meaning the pure cost of one piece would be ten taels of silver. Including the tailor’s craftsmanship fee and other miscellaneous expenses, the cost of one piece of clothing reaches around twenty taels.

A cost of twenty taels, I sell it for ninety-eight taels, is this unreasonable? You know a plastic bag in the previous life could be sold for tens of thousands; this is already conscientious.

With a profit of nearly eighty taels per piece of clothing, then two thousand sets bring in a total of sixteen thousand taels, which is indeed a significant profit! You know that Wei honestly took so much money from the casino, but in the end, it wasn’t sixteen thousand taels, showing that legitimate business makes money much easier than robbing.

Of course, such things are discussed ideally; selling two thousand garments in a year means about six garments a day. It seems not much, but initially, it might not be so many, yet once the reputation is built, it immediately starts to explode.

So Yuchi was prepared for the initial money-losing phase, seeing it as a minor issue. As long as the path is correct, short-term loss is acceptable.

When this matter was settled, Yuchi also gave Yuan’Er a heads-up, mainly on two issues.

First, if Yuan’Er needed funds, she could take freely; she could freely use the gold and silver of Immortal Robe Pavilion, a typical ”You are the boss lady, just take it,” a clear act of trust from Yuchi.

This was Yuchi’s sincere words; after experiencing many things, he only then realized who was reliable, who would just freeload and run.

Second, Yuan’Er eventually needed to systematize Immortal Robe Pavilion. The pavilion was the end result, but the process must be controlled properly, from research and development to production, publicity, sales, and finally after-sales—each step was indispensable.
