The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 565: Chapter 565: Joining Forces with Eldest Senior Brother

Han Jing furrowed her brows slightly and quickly said, ”The past is in the past. I think you shouldn’t always dwell on past events. After all, whether anyone was right or wrong back then is not something we can change. So, the most important thing is to do well in the present. Big... brother, if you don’t mind, I’ll acknowledge you as my big brother from now on, and I hope we can trust and support each other from now on. There’s no need to swear an oath or anything.”

Lian Xichen nodded, ”Alright, mutual trust and support.”

”Alright, alright, there’s no need for formalities, Little Jing zi, Brother Xichen, let’s get down to business,” Lan Ling interjected.

Han Jing and Lian Xichen nodded to each other.

Lan Ling quickly recounted the events of the past few years in the Spirit Cultivation Realm, how Yun Zi was imprisoned in the Delusion Void Array, what happened to Su Yu, how Yun Feng went missing, and some of the news they had gathered over these years to Lian Xichen.

After he finished speaking, Han Jing continued, ”So we feel that relying on our individual strength, even after cultivating for years, it would still be very difficult to deal with Xia Ji. The forces behind her are also something we cannot contend with. Therefore, I plan to establish a new sect, so we can develop our power while cultivating. We must have the strength to rival Xia Ji to gather more intelligence and have any chance of defeating her.”

Han Jing had no other purpose; she just wanted to completely make Xia Ji disappear from the Spirit Cultivation Realm, or even from this world, to prevent her from causing trouble for Su Yu again.

However, she knew this was an extremely difficult task.

Xia Ji could accurately grasp Su Yu’s weak points and catch him off guard, showing her strength and tactics. Who knows how many more challenges await them in the future. Once they stand against Xia Ji, they must have the strength to face her directly, otherwise, they wouldn’t even qualify as her opponents.

As for the Soul Stabilizing Needle in Su Yu, she didn’t know what to do either. But even if he doesn’t remember her, she cannot stand idly by. At the very least, she needs to have the standing to stand beside him openly rather than not dare to see him, afraid of causing him trouble with one wrong step.

”And this time, we came hoping you’d be willing to come forward to manage our new sect, building a force capable of rivaling the Spirit Flame Sect, Beihan Palace, and even Lingyou Hall. What do you think, big brother?” Han Jing asked.

Lian Xichen listened to them for a long while before coming back to his senses. He nodded to Han Jing, not expecting that Han Jing, a woman raised with the pampering of a noble family, could have such determination and strategy. When he first learned she was the master’s wife, he wondered what merit and capabilities this seemingly delicate woman had to make the master devote so much effort for her?

Now, he was truly somewhat convinced by her, ”You’re right, relying solely on our individual strength, in a short time, it’s impossible to catch up with Xia Ji and oppose her. She doesn’t even need to make a move herself; just Ling Yue is difficult for us to deal with. Seeking revenge on them would be like a fool’s dream. So our priority must be to swiftly build our own strength and then ally with the master.”
