The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Sooner or Later, You’ll Put a Green Hat on Me!

Han Jing immediately thought of what she had heard on the road earlier and told An Chuxue to stay behind, turning to head towards Su Yaogeng’s courtyard.

She wasn’t concerned about herself, but her mother probably wouldn’t want anyone to know about such a disgraceful thing!

Han Jing had just entered Su Yaogeng’s courtyard when she heard Han Siqu shouting inside.

”Su Yaogeng, Eldest Princess, are you happy now?”

Han Jing walked in. Aunt Xi was standing at the door, and there was no one in the courtyard.

”Aunt Xi? What’s going on?” Han Jing asked in a low voice.

Aunt Xi shook her head, ”Miss, you...”

Aunt Xi wanted to tell Han Jing that she shouldn’t go in. She had already sent everyone away from the courtyard to keep them from approaching. Today’s issue was truly humiliating. A dignified Marquis, getting drunk in broad daylight and causing such chaos here.

It’s really... Aunt Xi couldn’t imagine how such a situation came to be.

So many years had passed without a word from the Marquis, so how did it come to this?

”I should go in and take a look. I just heard on the road that Duchess Wei hanged herself. I’m worried it might affect my mother.” Han Jing said softly.

Aunt Xi gave Han Jing a surprised look and sighed, ”How did it become like this?”

Then she nodded to Han Jing, ”I’ll go in with you. The Marquis’s emotions are quite unstable right now, be careful he doesn’t harm you.”

The news of Han Jing’s pregnancy had been heard by Aunt Xi from Su Yaogeng, and it pained her heart.

The Princess’s fate was already enough of a struggle, and she hadn’t expected Miss’s situation to be equally heart-wrenching. But the Princess mentioned there was a solution, and hopefully, everything would go smoothly. These two, mother and daughter, truly have it hard.

Han Jing didn’t have time to refuse, so she followed Aunt Xi inside the room.

As soon as they entered, a strong smell of alcohol hit them. Then Han Jing saw that Han Siqu, who was usually well-dressed, now had disheveled hair and untidy clothes, sitting with no dignity on the floor, truly...

Meanwhile, Su Yaogeng was sitting on the couch with a stern face, watching Han Siqu acting up.

Seeing Aunt Xi and Han Jing come in, he frowned slightly and then beckoned Han Jing, ”Come over here, stay away from him, be careful he doesn’t hurt you.”

Han Jing went over and sat down beside Su Yaogeng. Su Yaogeng scolded angrily, ”Why did you come over here?”

Han Jing glanced at Han Siqu and said quietly, ”I was worried about Mother, so I came to check.”

Su Yaogeng held his forehead, ”This is truly humiliating.”

However, Han Siqu didn’t seem to notice Han Jing and Aunt Xi coming in. He continued to sit on the floor, crying and causing a scene, shouting at Su Yaogeng, ”I knew it, I knew you guys would put a green hat on me sooner or later! No, that’s not right, you, you wouldn’t do that, you, you’d definitely divorce me and then marry him!”

Then he started crying again, ”What did I do wrong, ah, for you to treat me like this? That Mrs. Qin, Mrs. Qin hanged herself, can’t live, can’t live...”

”Wuwu... Do you know what colleagues say about me? Saying I’m, saying I’m incompetent, huh? I’m incompetent?”

”I am incompetent, I am incompetent... You’re the Eldest Princess, the noble Princess Yi Huang, the most prestigious princess in Nanyao Country. What am I? I’m not even a substitute! All these years, have you ever let me touch your finger!”
