A divine maiden emerged from the city, looked towards Athena in front of Typhon, Hestia felt heartache, ”Athena, you are inherently most kind, why would you help Typhon, to harm humans you once protected!”

Hestia.

Guardian of the family, Kitchen Fire Goddess.

She and Athena both being virgin gods had an excellent relationship, yet they never expected Athena to betray the gods, join that so-called Rome!

”Aunt... or rather Hestia, look at who I am!”

The heroic girl behind the shield started transforming, her figure became taller, marble-like skin, light purple long hair reaching below the waist, eyes cold golden.

”Metis? Where is Athena?” Hestia couldn’t help but ask, naturally recognizing Metis, but Metis wasn’t she long since...

”There has never been an Athena, only me, Metis!” The transformed Metis coldly said.

”Back then, Zeus sensed I was pregnant, worried the entity in my womb would threaten his rule, swallowed me whole!”

”Had I not anticipated it, transformed and birthed as my daughter, I would have long been killed by Zeus!”

”He shamelessly occupied half my wisdom divine authority and rank, without me, could he maintain his rule for so long?”

Metis’ voice was full of anger; women are emotional, and an angry woman even more so, back then she even risked her life to help Zeus rebel against God King Cronus.

But how did Zeus repay her?

Indeed, made her Celestial Empress for a time, but upon discovering her pregnancy, swallowed her without a word, even stripped her of her rank and divine authority.

During that time, Metis fully understood Zeus’ nature; seemingly affectionate, but really heartless, everyone could be a tool for him to maintain his rule.

Hestia listened to Metis’ rebuke, knowing Zeus’ actions were unjust, and could only say: ”He did it for the gods, only by maintaining divine kinghood could Cronus’ resurgence be avoided.”

”Now Cronus swore never to be divine king again, I will be the next divine king!”
