CEO's Reborn Wife

”The hospital doctor had no choice but to get her a realistic doll, a smart doll so realistic that it could call out ’mother’. When Jillian Carter heard the doll cry, laugh, and call ’mother’, she treated the doll as her son, stopped trying to take other people’s children, and didn’t bite people anymore.”

Perhaps because Jillian Carter showed some improvement, the hospital nurse, being negligent in her supervision, allowed Jillian Carter the opportunity to hold the child and run out of the hospital.

The purpose of Jillian Carter running out of the hospital with the child might have been to find Joseph Shaw, the father, to share the good news that the child could already speak.

After Jillian Carter got the new doll, the hospital nurse heard her mention that she had to tell Joseph Shaw that their child could call out ’mother’, and she also said she would try hard to teach the child to call out ’daddy’.

”This type of doll is a smart doll with targeted emotional comfort functions. In Jillian Carter’s eyes, it was her child. When Christopher Chip threw the doll into the river, as a mother, Jillian Carter’s first reaction was to save the child, so she jumped right in.” James Black finished speaking, needing a bit of time himself to digest this news.

It was all too sudden.

”Was she rescued? Did someone go to save her? How long has this happened?” Jane Sampson asked.

”Oscar Wilson said it happened more than half an hour ago, half an hour ago, a friend of his at the scene recorded a video and sent it to the group. At the time, no one recognized it was Jillian Carter. When Christopher Chip and Jillian Carter were struggling and snatching, passersby thought it was an ordinary dispute. It wasn’t until Christopher Chip threw the doll into the river, and Jillian Carter climbed over the bridge and jumped in that everyone realized the severity. Jillian Carter jumped too quickly, without any hesitation, and those next to her couldn’t pull her back in time.”

Jillian Carter’s quick reaction was that of a mother seeing her child in harm’s way, so quick that there wasn’t a bit of hesitation. The deep, unfathomable river ahead seemed like a small stream in her eyes, not causing her even a hint of fear.

Oscar Wilson had to watch several times before vaguely noticing that the person looked like Jillian Carter, then he checked local forums and Moments for other passerbys’ filmed footage from different angles, and finally confirmed it was indeed Jillian Carter.

Then Oscar Wilson made a call to the Carter Family, who then called the hospital to inquire, and only then did the nurse know that Jillian Carter was really missing.

It was so late, and the nurses saw that Jillian Carter’s room was very quiet, always thinking that after Jillian Carter got the new doll, she had gone to rest early. So after Jillian Carter left, no one noticed.

”As soon as Jillian Carter jumped in, someone reported it to the police. At the time, there was a returning night tour boat on the river, and the captain, seeing someone jump into the river, immediately steered the boat toward the place where Jillian Carter fell. But the current was fast, and they didn’t see anyone. The rescue team quickly arrived, but so far no one has been found.” These things were all what James Black heard from Oscar Wilson just now over the phone.

”This matter should soon be a hot topic in the news.” James Black said, ”The video spread too fast and too widely, and many people have recognized that the person involved was Jillian Carter.”

Of course, the reporters will all follow up on this news relentlessly.

Jane Sampson sat on the bed, with one hand supporting the bedhead cabinet, sitting there dazed for quite a while.

”I feel like this whole thing is unreal.” Jane Sampson still felt her mind was blank.

How can a well-placed person being treated at the hospital suddenly end up jumping into a river, her life or death unknown?
