CEO's Reborn Wife

Thank you and the child for coming into this world, entering his life.

”I’m very happy too.” Jane Sampson whispered while nestled in James Black’s arms, ”I only found out I was pregnant this morning. When I knew, I was so happy. I wanted to send you a photo of the pregnancy test stick right away, but I held back. I wanted to tell you in person and see with my own eyes how happy you’d be with this news.”

But unexpectedly, James Black got mad at her first.

”We need to call grandparents and auntie and tell them this happy news, let them share in the joy too.” James Black said, ”Grandfather has been hoping for this for a long time, he’ll definitely praise you.”

”Grandfather already knows~ Grandpa and Grandma, Daddy and Mommy also know, Auntie and Uncle-in-law know too~ Bright Sampton and Peter Gingery know as well~” Jane Sampson counted on her fingers, adding, ”Coco Edwards knows too, and since Coco knows, it means Sister Tin and the others definitely know too.”

James Black’s eyelid twitched after hearing this.

”So, I, the daddy, am the last one to know?” James Black gently flicked Jane Sampson’s forehead with his finger while holding her shoulder, ”You must really love me, to let me be the last to know such things.”

”Hee hee, it’s because I was coming back, so I wanted to tell you in person.” Jane Sampson stuck out her tongue, ”I told you just now, I wanted to see how happy you’d be.”

”So today, after grandpa kicked me out of the group, you announced this in the group?” James Black connected the dots with what happened that morning.

”Actually, at first, I planned to tell you as soon as I got off the plane, but you were so infuriating at the airport, asking you to guess, you wouldn’t guess, and you even played songs for me, you really pissed me off!” Jane Sampson looked at James Black with grievance, accusing him of his misdeeds.

”You almost made me die of anger!” Jane Sampson loudly huffed at James Black, ”One hotpot meal isn’t enough; you have to make it up to me with two meals.”

After speaking, Jane Sampson held up two fingers, and in the next second, another finger popped up, ”No, make it three!”

James Black laughed and agreed, ”Three it is.”

”But I don’t know if I can eat spicy food now, if I can’t eat it, I’ll save all three meals until after the baby is born, and you can’t renege. If I can’t eat now, you have to write me a promissory note, saying you, James Black, owe me, Jane Sampson, three hotpot meals, redeemable anytime after Jane Sampson has the baby!”

Jane Sampson was preparing in case James Black backed out.

”You can still eat during pregnancy, look at Mair Williams, does she eat any less?” James Black found it infinitely amusing, ”Have a good rest today, tomorrow I’ll take you to eat.”

As for Jane Sampson’s little flaw of taking advantage, James Black was in a good mood and didn’t mind.

Three meals it is.

After all, it’s not like he couldn’t afford it.

”No wonder you’ve gained quite a bit recently.” James Black pinched Jane Sampson’s face again, ”With the baby in your belly, you’re easier to get hungry, so you eat more.”

”Grandma said many people don’t feel anything at the start of being pregnant, so I kept eating recently, and Grandma didn’t think of pregnancy. I just ate more, but was especially energetic, bouncing around outside all day, Grandma thought since you weren’t there to keep an eye on me, I was just letting loose.”

Jane Sampson still wasn’t sure how long she had been pregnant, but it certainly wasn’t more than two months, a lot of people don’t have her appetite in the early stages.

However, some do have early reactions like loss of appetite and feeling sleepy.
