CEO's Reborn Wife

”Make a bold guess!” Jane Sampson stood on tiptoe and gave James Black a kiss, ”Consider this as encouragement, make a bold guess, guess in the direction you want the most!”

But someone couldn’t resist being greedy.

James Black wrapped his arms around Jane Sampson’s waist and wouldn’t let go, lowering his head to touch her forehead, ”Another kiss? After that, I’ll guess?”

Jane Sampson shook her head, ”No way! Hurry up and guess! You’re no fun!”

The new mom was unhappy, stomped her foot, and watched as James Black furrowed his brows, staring at her as if deep in thought, only then did she calm down, waiting for James Black to continue guessing.

James Black clicked his tongue, his fingertip grazing Jane Sampson’s lips, raising an eyebrow, his voice low and husky, ”You told me to make a bold guess; if I’m wrong, you’re not allowed to get mad.”

”I promise I won’t get mad.” Jane Sampson shook her head, smiling at James Black with utmost tenderness, putting all her sincerity out on her face.

However, James Black still felt Jane Sampson’s assurance wasn’t of much use, because when it came time to be mad, she would still get mad.

After all, Jane Sampson was adept at playing coy.

Plus, she had a strong support system.

Old Master Black was her backing, and now with the Carter Family, she was fearless.

A tough wife.

”Alright.” James Black picked up Jane Sampson and sat her on the sofa.

”You told me to guess, so if you still get mad, hotpot is canceled.” James Black, still a bit uneasy, even went so far as to threaten Jane Sampson before guessing.

”Hehe.”

Regarding James Black’s threat, Jane Sampson elegantly rolled her eyes at him.

”I guess...”

James Black slowly began to speak, and Jane Sampson’s heart lifted with those two words.

”You couldn’t possibly have brought back a child as a gift for me, right?” James Black joked with Jane Sampson, but after saying this, he quickly pinched Jane Sampson’s nose and then swiftly reached out to cover her eyes.

”I told you not to get mad, you told me to guess boldly, so I guessed casually. If you’re unhappy, you’re still not allowed to get mad.” James Black’s palm was pressed against Jane Sampson’s eyes, and when she blinked, she could feel her eyelashes tracing across his palm.

Jane Sampson wasn’t angry; if James Black could move his hand away from her eyes right now, he would find that Jane Sampson’s eyes weren’t filled with furious anger.

But instead, with surprise, and an indescribable joy.

Jane Sampson wanted to laugh, but looking at his palm in front of her, she softly asked, ”Why is your hand here?”

Without waiting for James Black to answer, Jane Sampson reached out and grabbed James Black’s hand, then slowly pressed his hand down, pressing it all the way down, and brought his palm gently to her belly.

Then placed his palm right against her lower abdomen, and although it was separated by clothes, Jane Sampson felt he should be able to feel it.

”Hmm?” James Black looked at Jane Sampson with confusion.

He was a bit surprised she wasn’t angry.

But even more confusing was this action by Jane Sampson.

”Is your belly hurting?” James Black asked.

Jane Sampson sighed, ”James, are you a big silly goose? Are you the silliest of all the silly geese in the world?”

Jane Sampson was getting anxious, her finger poking strongly at the back of James Black’s hand, ”Feel it, feel it.”

James Black, following Jane Sampson’s words, touched it, even rubbed it, as if genuinely worried that Jane Sampson’s belly was hurting.
