CEO's Reborn Wife

Old Master Black believes Jane Sampson will become a good mother.

Because, the things she lacked, she knows more than anyone how tough those days were.

Because she didn’t have them, when she becomes a mother, she will definitely not let her child miss out.

”Of course!” Jane Sampson swayed her head proudly, acting cute, ”Is Auntie coming back?”

”Uh, she booked tomorrow’s flight.” Old Master Black nodded, ”There are still some matters to handle over there, so she can’t make it back today.”

After regaining her access to the internet, Jane Sampson turned into an internet addict girl, holding her mobile phone while sitting on the sofa, leaning against James Black, browsing Twitter.

She reluctantly put down her phone only when called for a meal.

”Have a good meal at noon, I’ll take you out for a walk this afternoon.” James Black served Jane Sampson a bowl of soup and placed it in front of her, ”This afternoon, you are allowed to have a cup of hot milk tea.”

Jane Sampson looked up at James Black in surprise.

”Don’t want to drink?” James Black asked deliberately, ”If you don’t want to drink, then forget it.”

”Husband, you’re so good!” Jane Sampson clasped her hands to her heart looking at James Black, then firmly shook her head, ”I won’t drink, I have things to do this afternoon, don’t want to go for a walk with you.”

One second praising someone for being nice, the next second outright refusing them.

Old Master Black rarely saw James Black being at a loss, and sat laughing quietly on the side, making sarcastic remarks, ”Your wife says she doesn’t want to go for a walk with you, you can go by yourself.”

”By the way, when are you going back to the base?” Jane Sampson asked.

”You’re not busy recently, come stay at the base for a few days with me.” James Black said, ”You go handle your things this afternoon, I’ll pack your luggage at home, once you finish give me a call, I’ll drive to pick you up, then we’ll head straight to the base.”

”I don’t have time~” Jane Sampson shook her head, ”Sister Tin just told me that she got a role for me, a few days of guest appearance, I’ll head to the filming set this afternoon after getting the script.”

”It’s a costume drama, the script should take about a week to finish filming, once I’m done I’ll drive to the base to join you.” Seeing James Black’s face looking displeased, Jane Sampson tugged at James Black’s sleeve, ”Just one week, after it’s done I’ll come join you, I promise I won’t bail on you.”

James Black’s expression finally looked a bit better.

”We’re not short on money, there’s no need to keep taking roles non-stop, if you can take a break, then take a good break.” James Black almost wanted to grab Jane Sampson and ask, isn’t it fun to lie around and play with your phone in the dormitory at the base?

Not long after resting, and now she’s leaving him alone again to get busy.

”I just found this role interesting so I took it, it’s a villain role, the kind that makes people gnash their teeth in hatred.” Jane Sampson hadn’t played such a thoroughly bad role before, so she decided to take it.

”Will you get criticized after it’s done?” Old Master Black worried as soon as he heard, ”There was an actress who played a nanny role before, and after the role, she got pointed at and scolded when she went out.”

”No, today’s audiences know that acting is acting, reality is reality, they won’t bring what’s in the drama into real life.” Jane Sampson shook her head, she wasn’t worried about that at all.

Audiences nowadays are generally very rational.

”As long as you’re happy, act in whatever you want.” Old Master Black was relieved, ”Once you’re in the film crew, make sure to take care of yourself, your grandfather only has one request for you, take care of yourself, don’t let yourself get thin again.”
