CEO's Reborn Wife

Jane Sampson stood behind James Black and patted his shoulder, looking puzzled, ”Are you brewing chrysanthemum tea?”

”Mm.” James Black glanced back at Jane Sampson, then reached out to pull the person behind him in front, ”Just now I heard you talking to your brother on the phone about chrysanthemum tea, remembered we also have some in our fridge, so I made you a cup.”

After saying that, James Black thought for a moment and asked, ”Would you like some sunflower seeds? Shall I shell them for you?”

Jane Sampson was stunned for two seconds, then burst into laughter.

What’s going on? Jane Sampson thought, James Black asking her so earnestly if she wanted sunflower seeds, was inexplicably cute.

Jane Sampson reached out and directly hugged James Black, rubbing her face against his like a clingy little kitten.

With laughter in her voice, ”There are no sunflower seeds in the house~”

James Black lowered his head and kissed his young wife’s face, ”Shall I go downstairs and buy some?”

It was the tone of a question.

If Jane Sampson said yes, he could immediately go downstairs and buy some from the convenience store at the doorway.

So diligent, without any hesitation.

”No.” Jane Sampson shook her head, finding it amusing in her heart.

The incident from the live stream that day, James Black still remembered it now.

”Then just drink some tea.” James Black held Jane Sampson’s hand in one hand, and the teacup in the other, leading her out of the kitchen.

He placed the teacup on the tabletop and let go.

He led her to the sofa, still not letting go.

He gently pinched her hand in his palm.

Jane Sampson’s fingers were slender and delicate, obviously pianist’s hands, yet when held in the palm, they were especially soft.

”When does the new drama start filming?” After sitting down, James Black finally let go of Jane Sampson’s hand, instead wrapping his arm around her waist.

Her waist was even softer than her hands.

James Black couldn’t help but glance down at her waist, then inexplicably smiled at the corner of his lips.

”Why are you suddenly smiling so strangely?” Jane Sampson glanced at James Black, then pushed his hand away, moving two inches to the side.

James Black raised his eyebrows, reached over, and brought her back, ”Still trying to move to the main gate?”

Jane Sampson decided not to answer James Black’s question anymore.

She responded to him, ”The casting for the new drama hasn’t finished yet, but they’ve decided on me as the female lead, the start filming time is still uncertain, ’The Sound and Shadow’ has finished its initial publicity, and after that, there’s one event in Capital Province and Seaside City each, and then there’s that variety show which you also know about, and then nothing else.”

”Sister Tin has helped me push away business activities, and the advertising selection is quite strict, Sister Tin said since I’m not lacking money, we won’t consider non-first-tier big brands, lest I lower my status, so my schedule is quite relaxed recently, I’ll go over to Auntie Rice to gain some experience, and then just wait to be on that variety show.”

In the circle of artists, you definitively wouldn’t find another person as laid-back as Jane Sampson.

The schedule before New Year is nearly empty.

Even James Carter is preparing to release a new song before New Year, recently he has started to get busy.

Only Jane Sampson, like a salted fish, is leisurely enjoying her idleness.

Rock Bell knows Jane Sampson’s ambitions do not lie on the path to the top of the circle, so she lets Jane Sampson do as she pleases.

Regarding Jane Sampson’s leisure, none could be happier than James Black.

Hearing Jane Sampson speaking in such a self-mocking tone saying ”and then nothing else,” James Black chuckled softly, nodded, and even complimented her, ”So good.”

It was still early, after chatting for a while in the living room, Jane Sampson and James Black ran off to the piano room to practice the piano.
