CEO's Reborn Wife

”Not yet.” Jane Sampson thought for a moment and then tentatively asked, ”Then when I go back in a few days, will you come to the airport to pick me up?”

Of course James Black knew the probing intention behind Jane Sampson’s words.

So he couldn’t help but find it amusing.

”Pick you up, if I don’t, I’m afraid you wouldn’t even know the way back to the guard team. You’re difficult to appease, and I’m reluctant to change to a wife who’s easier to please. So, tell me, should I pick you up?”

Teased Jane Sampson, James Black then let out a low laugh over the phone, ”Haven’t had lunch yet? Hurry up and eat.”

”Even if you wanted to change wives, you wouldn’t find someone as beautiful and adorable as me.” Upon hearing this, Jane Sampson laughed along with him and hung up the phone after being urged to eat by James Black.

Jane Sampson whipped her beautiful hair back and forth, picked up her mobile phone to take a look, and she was delighted, ”I’m really beautiful!”

Coco Edwards burst into laughter upon hearing this.

”Was that Mr. Black calling you just now?” Coco Edwards asked.

”Yes.”

”I knew it; in this world, only Mr. Black has the magic to give you such confidence.” Coco Edwards said, ”So are you going downstairs now? Wonder if that old witch is still making trouble downstairs.”

”I’ll go down and take a look.” If Jane Sampson didn’t go downstairs, the hotel lobby manager might actually get his eyes poked blind.

The child was taken away by Richard Zane at her behest, so she also had the responsibility to step in.

”Should we say something to Mr. Carter?” Coco Edwards was a bit worried, ”That old witch’s combat power is quite amazing.”

Jane Sampson thought about it, and shook her head, ”No need, we’ll go down, and after we resolve it, then we’ll call him down for dinner.”

Coco Edwards thought about James Carter’s cane and nodded in agreement.

However, neither of them expected that when they got downstairs, James Carter was already in the large hall, negotiating with the old witch from the Miller Family.

James Carter was too much of a gentleman, facing such a shrew-like person, he was at a bit of a disadvantage.

Fortunately, James Carter brought his strong assistant to protect him, not letting the old witch get anywhere near him, and the hotel security guard didn’t dare let the old witch approach James Carter.

Jane Sampson saw the old shrew from the Miller Family, who had been pointing at the lobby manager, now pointing at James Carter and yelling at him, and her protective instincts immediately kicked in.

”The child was taken away under my watch, and I’m responsible for this matter, why are you yelling at Brother James Carter!” Jane Sampson angrily marched over, hands on her hips, ”Your Miller Family is shameless, dared to throw such small kids out of the house late at night, not allowing others to look after them when they couldn’t stand it?”

Because James Black wasn’t angry, and with Elder Black supporting her from behind, Jane Sampson had a stronger sense of confidence, her arrogance eclipsing even that of the Miller Family’s old shrew.

”Aren’t you going to report to the police? Go ahead and report! I’m waiting here for you to accuse me of abducting children! Your Miller Family got those two kids kicked out of their school, leaving them homeless, without books, and I will make sure Grace and her younger brother return to school! Go report me, find a lawyer, accuse me, Jane Sampson, of morally corrupt actions like sending underage siblings to school! Go ahead! If you don’t, you’re a turtle egg!”

Jane Sampson finished speaking, proudly posturing with her hands on her waist towards the old witch, who was fiercely blocked several steps away by security.

Once the video was uploaded by the onlookers, if the netizens didn’t vilify that old witch, she wouldn’t call herself Jane Sampson!
