CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2191: Chapter 2199: You Know Yet You Still Ask

After Jane Sampson lay down beside him, James Black tightly wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered, ”How about we print out the photos from our mobile phones and stick them on the wall when we get back? We could frame them simply like this.”

”Which photos?” Jane Sampson asked, ”Which photos on our phones?”

”The one that’s my current WhatsApp avatar is good,” James Black mused.

”I think the ones I took of you on the same day are even better.” After saying that, Jane Sampson closed her eyes, ignoring James Black.

She definitely didn’t want to wash out and display the photos of her kissing James Black on the wall for everyone to see.

How embarrassing.

Such photos are meant to stay on her mobile phone, for her to secretly admire alone.

Because she had been in a joyous mood all day today, Jane Sampson couldn’t fall asleep even after lying down.

After watching James Black lying quietly for a few minutes, Jane Sampson reached out and tickled his belly, ”Have you fallen asleep?”

James Black didn’t respond to her.

Jane Sampson just laughed to herself, ”I know you’re not asleep yet, you’re just pretending to ignore me, right?”

”Why ask if you already know?” James Black’s tone was a bit helpless, but mostly indulgent, ”Too happy to fall asleep?”

”Yes, yes!” Jane Sampson nodded.

”Then should I tell you something less cheerful to help you get sleepy?” James Black’s arm tightened slightly, ”Once we’re back, you’ll have to get up early and jog with me every day.”

After speaking, James Black lowered his head and gave Jane Sampson a kiss, ”Still too happy to sleep?”

”...”

She had completely forgotten about it, why remind her now?

”I’m going to sleep now, can’t talk to you anymore.” Jane Sampson said unhappily, wanting to turn over, but James Black’s hold was too tight, she couldn’t move at all.

James Black’s bucket of cold water was quite effective.

Jane Sampson dozed off in his arms within two minutes.

One sleep through to the next morning, waking up around 6 o’clock, James Black was about to wake her when she opened her eyes first.

”Good that you’re awake, go wash up.” James Black said, ”I’ve packed your coat, if the weather’s good, we might stay a night at the mountain resort, your luggage is already in the car.”

The just-awakened Jane Sampson took less than ten seconds to clear her mind, jumped up from the bed, and cheered, ”Oh, let’s go play~”

Then she happily went to brush her teeth and wash her face.

At half past seven, the Black Family and the Carter Family all set out together, excluding the driver and the bodyguard, a total of eleven people from both families went, taking four cars.

Everyone left happily, none of them expecting that by chance, they were going on a trip today while Jillian Carter would suddenly return to the Carter Family today.

There was only Aunt in the house, and when Jillian Carter opened the door and came in, Aunt was momentarily stunned.

”Miss Jillian is back?” Aunt greeted Jillian Carter.

”Why is the house so quiet? Grandpa, grandma, and mother are not home?” Jillian Carter asked, ”Did my brother come back last night?”

”Yes, but mister and the others went out today, and they’ll be back tomorrow.” As long as Jillian Carter didn’t ask, Aunt wasn’t prepared to mention where Father and Mother Carter had gone.

”Grandpa and grandma went out too?” Seeing Aunt nod, Jillian Carter guessed, ”Then it must be my brother and mother went to the countryside with grandpa and grandma.”

”Mister and the others didn’t say, so I don’t know, maybe that’s the case.” Aunt smiled faintly and found an excuse to go into the kitchen to be busy.
