CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2117: Chapter 2125: I’m Still Here

Or maybe he returned to the guard team, or perhaps he’s busy with other things.

Sleep can happen at any time, but not always can she lean against him and look at him like this.

”I’ll stay home with you tomorrow.” James Black patted Jane Sampson’s back of the head, ”So you can sleep peacefully now, when you wake up, I’ll be here.”

Hearing James Black say so, Jane Sampson felt relieved.

She nodded, raised her head and pouted for a kiss, only then did she close her eyes contentedly.

Woken in the middle of the night by James Black, Jane Sampson was really tired.

After putting her mind at ease, it was just a little while before Jane Sampson fell asleep.

But after falling asleep, her whole body still tightly clung to James Black, one hand even grabbing onto the sleeve of his pajamas. She was more well-behaved and charming in her sleep than at any other time.

Afraid of waking him once more, James Black didn’t change his sleeping position the whole night.

The next morning, Jane Sampson surprisingly woke up earlier than James Black.

She opened her eyes, and James Black was still holding her, deeply asleep.

Jane Sampson knew James Black worked hard on his missions and possibly hasn’t slept well for a long time, so she didn’t dare to wake him up.

Jane Sampson lifted the quilt intending to quietly get off the bed, but unexpectedly, as soon as she lifted the quilt, a bloody smell hit her.

Jane Sampson’s eyebrows furrowed.

Her menstruation is not due these days, so this bloody smell isn’t from her.

In the bed, it’s just her and James Black, if not from her, then it’s from James Black.

Jane Sampson didn’t even care about waking James Black, she quickly got up and followed the scent, and one glance, it terrified her.

James Black’s waist had blood, it seeped through his pajamas, onto the sheet beneath him.

”James Black.” Jane Sampson quickly went to shake him awake, ”You’re bleeding!”

James Black woke up as soon as Jane Sampson moved, hearing her voice, he sat up, facing her eyes full of worry and haste, he hurried to explain, ”I probably accidentally pressed on the wound, no big deal, it’s just a small wound, the doctor bandaged it before I came back.”

Last night he didn’t change his sleeping position, and with a wound there, indeed it was pressing on the wrong position that caused the wound to open and bleed.

”Bleeding so much is still a small wound?” Jane Sampson reached to lift James Black’s pajamas, but he reacted quickly and dodged, swiftly avoiding her hand.

”Really, it’s just a small wound.” James Black held Jane Sampson’s hand, said, ”I can change the medicine myself.”

”You’re lying!” Jane Sampson bit her lips, ”James Black, you turtle egg! You big liar! You’re hurt and didn’t tell me, last night you came back drenched in rain, and you still took a bath with an injury, you have a wound here, yet you didn’t think to switch positions with me in bed, didn’t remind me not to lean on you and touch your wound.”

Jane Sampson felt worse the more she spoke, glaring at James Black, she got off the bed, ”I’m going to tell auntie, let her take you to the hospital.”

Jane Sampson mostly felt guilty, knowing the mission was dangerous for James Black this time, when he returned last night, she was only focused on her happiness, but forgot to care for James Black’s body.

If she had been a little more attentive, maybe she wouldn’t have been kept in the dark by James Black.

”Come back!”

James Black hurriedly held her back by the waist as she tried to leave, pulled her back, ”Really, it’s a small wound, during the fight the knife accidentally grazed me, it’s just skin damage, nothing serious. I brought medicine and gauze back, if you don’t believe me, you can change the medicine for me.”
