CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2097: Chapter 2105: Bright Sampton Leaves the Team

Later, at the crucial moment, a phone call from James Carter thwarted the director’s plan.

This newcomer returned home, hoping her family could help introduce her to James Carter, thinking that since they both belonged to the Carter Family and were somewhat connected, James Carter might help her out.

Unfortunately, the Carter Family wouldn’t even let her and her family inside the door.

”It’s not that I want to block anyone’s path, but such tactics are too despicable.” Rock Bell had never handled the artists in his studio this way.

Even when Jane Sampson first debuted, Rock Bell hadn’t thought of doing such a thing.

”If she wants to create hype using others, the Carter Family won’t care, so it’s just her bad luck that she happened to think of you,” Rock Bell said. ”During this time, rest well at home. Once things are over, you’ll have to immediately return to filming. You’ve fallen behind so much, so you must be prepared for hardship.”

”I understand~” Jane Sampson obediently agreed, silently apologizing in her heart to the niece who looked a bit like her.

After hanging up the call, Jane Sampson stopped holding onto her mobile phone to play.

She lay in the bed, dazing for a while, all thoughts in her mind were about James Black.

This was her usual state ever since she found out about James Black’s disappearance. As long as she had nothing to do, her mind acted like a machine, constantly revolving around the matter with James Black.

Every small detail had to be meticulously pondered and analyzed by her.

Jane Sampson was so engrossed in her thoughts that when Peter Gingery banged on her room door, she got frightfully startled. When she got down to open the door, one could say she was furious.

”Peter Gingery, if you don’t have a good enough reason to calm my anger, wait and see how I deal with you!” Jane Sampson gritted her teeth.

”With those little arms and hands of yours, who can you deal with?” Peter Gingery handed his mobile phone over to Jane Sampson. ”Take a look, Bright Sampton has quit the team, the team officially announced it, and Bright Sampton also retweeted the official twitter to confirm it.”

”What!” This time, Jane Sampson was truly shocked, ”He just told me he went to the base to handle some matters, how did he suddenly quit the team?”

So, was Bright Sampton handling the matter of quitting the team just now?

”I’m just puzzled, wasn’t he really fond of this work and career? He got along well with his teammates, too. How could he just quit without any sign before? He went to the base alone for contract termination.” Peter Gingery had been with Bright Sampton these few days and didn’t notice Bright Sampton holding such a big move in his heart.

Jane Sampson suddenly fell silent.

In her heart, waves of guilt.

She recalled the last time Bright Sampton participated in an interview live stream video.

She remembered that the original intent of Bright Sampton joining the team wasn’t out of a particular love for the career, he was just searching, looking for a way to find family for her.

So, he thought of the same way as hers, standing in the most prominent and noticeable position.

Bright Sampson later came to love the competitive gaming.

And now, having suddenly quit the team, Jane Sampson had a vague feeling that the reason Bright Sampson made such a decision might still be related to her.

Related to the accident she had this time.

”Let’s wait until he gets back to ask him.” Peter Gingery noticed Jane Sampson stopped talking suddenly and felt a bit regretful for saying so much, ”Maybe, he just figured things out. Although I have no bias against competitive gaming, honestly speaking, this career relies a lot on youth and is hard to do as a lifetime job.”
