CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2053: Chapter 2061: Message Leak

The living room of the Black Family’s old mansion.

Bright Sampton scratched his head, finally remembering what he had experienced before sleep.

Seemingly unable to believe it, Bright Sampton quickly got up from the ground, ready to check Jane Sampson’s room upstairs to see if he’d just had a beautiful dream, dreaming that his sister was still alive.

Unexpectedly, at the staircase entrance, Bright Sampton bumped into Old Master Black coming out of a room.

”Fell off the sofa?” Old Master Black immediately noticed a small red patch on Bright Sampton’s forehead.

”Grandfather of Black Family, is my sister sleeping in the room upstairs?” Bright Sampton asked anxiously.

”Yes, she’s sleeping. You must have been muddle-headed from sleep and forgotten?” Old Master Black, upon seeing Bright Sampton’s flustered look, knew what he was thinking and said, ”If you’re worried, go check for yourself, but be quiet. Don’t wake your sister. She’s been sleeping restlessly recently. After you check, rest in the guest room.”

After speaking, Old Master Black returned to the room, while Bright Sampton, after some thought, headed upstairs.

He carefully opened the door, stood in the doorway, and looked at the quilt on the bed that looked like a small hill. His sister liked to sleep bundled up in the quilt, so he had no doubt that it was undoubtedly Jane Sampson.

Bright Sampton breathed a sigh of relief, put his mind at ease, and returned to the guest room, falling asleep as soon as he hit the pillow.

Everyone in the Black Family thought that the next day the entire news section would be dominated by Jane Sampson’s situation.

But unexpectedly, what everyone first saw when they woke up early was not news about Jane Sampson, but news about Forest Clan Group.

The news about Kane Forest being seriously injured and lying in a coma at the hospital somehow got out, and because of this news, as soon as the stock market opened in the morning, Forest Clan Group’s stock turned green.

Over these years, the Forest Clan Group undoubtedly relied on Kane Forest managing it, and as the current president gravely ill, this was naturally a heavy blow to Forest Clan Group.

At first, the Forest Family tried desperately to conceal Kane Forest’s situation to prevent such an outcome. In these few days, Father Forest and his two sons had been personally stationed at the company, firmly guarding against any internal chaos.

But unexpectedly, the news somehow got leaked, and the news about Kane Forest’s serious injuries and coma was still exposed.

Early in the morning, at the hospital, at the Forest Family, and even at the company, were surrounded by reporters who came after hearing the news.

Forest Clan Group’s competitors took the opportunity to poach employees from Forest Clan Group, openly and covertly snatching clients.

By noon, the president’s office had already received several resignation letters from some technical department employees and senior executives.

When Alexander Forest rushed from the hospital to Forest Clan Group, he saw his Elder Uncle sighing repeatedly over the resignation letters.

Alexander Forest was never someone to suffer grievances since childhood. He directly snatched the resignation letters from Uncle Forest’s hand, then with a cold face, strode out of the office, and asked Kane Forest’s secretary to call a meeting.

Before Uncle Forest could speak to stop him, he grabbed his things and headed for the Conference Room.

Five minutes later, everyone who was supposed to be there was there. Alexander Forest read out all the names on the resignation letters.

”Each of you has been in Forest Clan Group for quite a while. In your eyes, is the company this useless? Never mind that my brother isn’t even dead yet. Is it certain that the company will collapse without him?”
